Haddock scouting on Stellwagen Bank

We get out to Stellwagen Bank for an early may haddock scouting trip. These fish move onto the bank in the spring to feed and we had to cover some ground to find them. Once located we were able to catch our limit in no time.

A few miles east of middle bank. Fish are not in the shoal water yet

On this trip we used a high low rig and topped the hooks off with sea clams. Which is a large clam found locally and is hard so it stays on the hook.
