- I think y'all have probably noticed by now, I seem to have a knack for bottle hunting days starting out REALLY slow and then out of nowhere BOOM some crazy finds are made! This turned out to be one of my favorite treasure hunts yet!

Your videos really make this grandma very happy. The swamp children where are they? Don’t make me worry about their pet snakes, please be careful. Hope you find crates of old bottles, the broken lip ones may still be wanted by glass crafters, SI finds (CZcams U.K.) has a shop on Etsy where he up cycles broken old things. Hey maybe I could be up cycled lol 😂
I watched to live vicariously through you, to feel the adventure, and the thrill of the treasure being pulled from the ground. I do this because I am unable to do it myself. with five kids and a full-time job, I am very blessed, but there are still things that I enjoy that I am unable to do. So for me personally, thanks 🙏 Goes solely to you not only for doing what you do, but for taking the time in creating the content and uploading it. Keep up the good work, build your legacy through CZcams and live in infamy. Imagine your grandkids, your great grandkids, your great great great grandkids, will still be able to go on an adventure with you. How freaking cool is that. Be blessed. thanks again😉

That large bottle is most likely "Henry K Wampole & Co" and it was filled with Wampole's Perfected and Tasteless Preparation. LOL. (copied from Google) Company started in 1870. Ingredients: alcohol 12%, cod liver oil, and fluid extract of wild cherry compound syrup of hypophosphites.

It takes a good strong person to express gratitude; it's so much easier to just accept things and let it go. So hey, that says a lot about you, that you're willing to say how much our viewing has changed things for the better in your life. Gotta say, it's mutual; I mean, face it, it's been a trainwreck of a last couple of years (well, last FOUR years, to be specific) and there's been times that I was grateful that I could concentrate on your videos and see a bit of my home state again. I found my first antique bottle decades ago in a sand-dune on Panama City beach, an old purple medicine bottle with a broad, flat rim; seeing you finding these today makes me remember that and appreciate your hunts and enthusiasm. I remember when u were at 5k its amazing how far you've come in such a short period of time. Fossil hunting isn't giant on CZcams so it's rare to see a CZcams that started on fossils go so far so fast. Keep it goin brother I'm rooting for you

That “the company” bottle that is green is a piso company. Pretty common but the green is a uncommon color

My town was a Military outpost in the 1880's and now it doesn't even have a military base but we also don't have rubbish in our rivers and creeks, it's nice but at the same time I'm a bit jealous of people who can "treasure hunt" like this.
@TiffYG2133 get a metal detector, good chance you will come across and old dump while out metal detecting
Old farms will have an old dump in close proximity

The bottle gods seem to still be favoring you. Your finds are amazing. I believe I have been following everything you posted for the last two and a half years. I`ve enjoyed every moment of it. The confabs with The Crystal Collector and What The Hales have been great. There is another CZcamsr that might interest you. The ditchwalker has a channel where he goes out searching for indian arrowheads. That would be an awesome confab to watch as he has also found some large ammonites as well.
Straight sided cokes and a Wampole! Cool! That green one would have said The Piso Company. The bottle is common, but the green variety is uncommon! Awesomeness!!!💖

I love watching your videos you teach me so much about the state I now live in. I live in Largo and love searching for shark teeth since I was a kid. I had well over 5,000. I started giving them away on Indian Rock Beach to the kids who ask me what I'm doing while searching for them. I would love to hunt with you one day. If you ever do a fan video please think of me. Man may have been a slow start with all the broken pieces but those two straight sides and the crazy PA big one make the slow start all worth it; those things are just too cool! I would love to know the story behind that big one though. The bottle gods were with you for that biggun to have not broken after so many years!😄👍
and man that is so awesome that you are doing what you love for a living. I too turned passion into profession and honestly it makes all the work soooo much more worth it(to me anyway), just my shop for me at the moment but i would love to get my channel to that point one day. may feel like having two full time jobs and is definitely a lot of work, but at least you go to work every day loving what you do and i think that makes all the difference!😄 dont ever stop chasing your dreams my friend! We will all be here to back you for the journey👍😄

Hey Kyle , when I was a kid Ronco sold glass cutters to cut the top off old bottles and make drinking glasses . You can see the TV ad on CZcams . Look up " Ronco Bottle & Jar Cutter Commercial 70s" If you had one you could make some nice drinking glasses out of some of the broken bottles left behind.

Have you ever done a video about what you are looking for, or the ways you are identifying an old bottle? I found a pristine bottle today and the only thing I could think was "I bet wildkyle would be saying something about the lip or this embossing" but I'm just here like "this is pretty cool".

Nice finds even though some were broken. A lot of the people I know who do this find the broken ones, take them to a person who cuts the bad areas off and make glasses. Sounds corny but they come out cool and sell them
I don't know I feel the same way about glass being an environmental hazard as other trash. It's glass. It's doesn't leech anything out, it has no chemicals, it will eventually break down into basically sand, just like a rock. The only argument I cna think of is how sharp it can be. Shattered rock is sharp, shattered bone, all sorts of shells.

Do you own a glass cutter? Turning some of the broken topped bottles into glasses might be a cool way to save some history (repurpose, reuse, reimagine).
While mowing for the landscaping company I found 2 $10 bills at different places a week apart. Nearly mowed over them. LOL
