So do you think somewhere up the creek there is a dump where this stuff is reroading out of? Would it be worth the venture to walk further up to try and find it? Think you can sure up your palms bottle with a little uv resin. Lol of course not in those shoes. Hope it heals fast. 😁
Cool embossing on the Royal Palm. The black glass wine bottle looks to have a tooled applied lip, so def blown, prob pre 1900. Does it have a seam, or was it blown in a turn mold?

Thank you so much Rose! I am glad you enjoy the videos. The reason there are antique bottles is because I'm the late 1800's - early 1900's there were no regulations on where to dump trash. So creeks and low spots were often used as town dumps, unfortunately. These days trash ends up in the creek for similar reasons.. people's disregard for the environment 😞
From what I've heard there's actually better bottle spots in the northeast than what we have down south haha! I would check creeks near old towns when it warms up to start!

You’re killing me. You didn’t show the bottom of the bottle or say where it was made. I found a Royal Palm bottle in the Indian River Lagoon in Fort Pierce, which is also where it was bottled.

That wine bottle is a really good find. You're right about the age, late 1880s - 1890s. Applied double collar, tooled lip is a dead giveaway. GL&HH
