@@argenisacosta8296 I'm not Rodney or Dr. Becker. But I've been doing a lot of research on dog nutrition. The "free recipe" that they posted does not have a significant source of calcium, no source of iodine, no source of animal metabolized vitamin A (it just has ingredients with beta carotene, which dogs do not process adequately into vitamin A, and there is not enough beta carotene in the recipe to make up for it even if they did), no source of Omega 3 fats, no source of vitamin D, no significant source of manganese, and I'm sure I'm missing some, because I stopped at that. Usually I stop when a recipe doesn't have a good source of calcium or iodine. If they lack that, they're probably going to lack other essential nutrients. You can't just feed your dog meat and vegetables with a little bit of vegetable oil thrown in. And the meat they use in the recipe is low in fats in general, and definitely low in Omega 3 fats even when it is free range organic. They only specified vegetable oil, which doesn't tell you what ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 it is. Personally, I wouldn't ever use a recipe like that.

Sorry for butting in, but I'm about to spam a real, informational video with some dribble where I pretend I'm looking for information, only to send you to a paid site. Yeah. Good luck with that, the people here are educated and unlikely to fall for that garbage. I thought that went out of style 10 years ago

Also, I reported the 3 spam comments on your thread about some weird pet food. Those bots have been commenting that on every raw dog food recipe video I've seen, and it's truly getting extremely annoying.

Kay M it's a revised 2017 edition. Newest one available. She says she's working on another new one but who knows when that'll come out. Also checkout planet paws Dot com. They have a bunch of balanced raw recipes. Those are all done with Steve Brown's diet formulator software. Best available that I'm aware of. I paid big bucks to get my dogs diet formulated with his software.

Can 3.5 lbs of bone-in chicken thigh be used to replace the 1.5lbs of wings and 2 lbs chicken breast? Seems like the bone ratio would be about the same.
Has anyone tried to can this recipe to store in a pantry as opposed to freezing? I live off-grid and I would prefer not to buy a freezer unless it's necessary. Great video and recipe!
I'm just wondering, if I do the math right, this recipe has less grams of all the nutrients (vitamins and minerals) in one cup of food compared to kibble. I know kibble isn't as good as raw, but I'm wondering why that is. I guess since kibble has added vitamins and minerals through supplements, it must be easier to have higher amounts. Is there a chart that tells you how much vitamins and minerals need to go into a dogs diet (based on weight or anything)? I have a small dog. Thanks !
Hi, I love your channel and really learning a lot. But as much as we love our furry babies, it is kind of expensive. Would you make a video of alternative that will fit a budget of a family with kids. I really love my toy Australian Shepherd but budget wise we can’t afford whole food meat but just a regular ground meat in the grocery store. We would really appreciate it if you can teach us some cheaper alternatives to feeding healthy our fur babies. Thanks 😊
You mentioned ground egg shells was a good source of calcium for dogs but not puppies. Why not & what is a good easily obtained source other than bone meal?
Please share the type of blender you used to grind the chicken wings. Do I need to pound the wing like you did? I prefer not to. My food processor would not grind the wings.
Hi. I have a 5 year old Labrador with arthritis. He has become allergic to a whole lot of stuff found in regular dog food. That is why I ended up here, to look for alternatives. Can you recommend adding something in this recipe to help with his arthritis ?
Even though that looks good it's incredible expensive and maybe more suited for a small dog who can eat one of those and satisfied but my do can easily eat 8 of those in one sitting! Another thing is that this looks incredibly inconvenient and at this point the dog is eating better than I am so no thanks! A much much easier raw diet is raw 5x chicken drums with bones (dogs can perfectly digest raw bones), 2 cups cooked rice, 1 whole egg and about 1 or 2 cups of high end premium kibble like Orijen Regional Red. Another day I'll throw in some beef bones or some hard red meat. The less you spend trying to make a healthy meal for your dog the more likely you will stick to it but this is out of the question, way too much stuff involved and wayyy too expensive.
I keep reading that fruits and veg need to be puréed t digest easier but see you feeding whole blueberries and cucumbers etc, is that just as fun decorations? That they eat for crunch?
Love this but my pup won't eat raw. So wish you could cook this. Can you omit tje chicken wings and add calcium like ground eggshell powder? If so how much would you add? Please answer.
Hello? My dog is only 4 mos. What else can i add for it to be balanced for a puppy i know they need more calcium... i can buy more chicken drumsticks or necks
Lamb is a warming meat and can cause your dog to overheat if fed continuously throughout the Summer. There has to be some other proteins it can handle? No quail, rabbit, bison, elk, venison?
Hi Rodney, what do you think about what some vets opinion about raw food. Some claim bacterias that can be found in raw meat dog meals can be transferred to humans, I 'd love to hear back from you on that. Thanks
Safe handling of all raw meats is important. Including kitchen and floor surfaces etc. Personally, I use disposable gloves when preparing food for my dogs. Than I clean everything! I also wipe dogs' mouth with moist paper towel. Than wash my hands. I've been doing this for a few years, no problems at all not even once. But I am extremely clean!
