Thats cause they have guns now, 😆
Yeah it’s actually so sad, hopefully he finds people
If I could I would be his student.
Ridiculed Victor It’s about discipline and self defence.

"Chinese kung fu dates dates back thousands of years..." The word kung fu is Chinese. There is no such thing as non-Chinese kung fu. The word kung fu does not mean martial art. It refers to any skills or accomplishments cultivated through devotion to long and hard training or studying. In Chinese, you can hear people refer to someone who is accomplished as "That person's kung fu is very strong/good." And the person in question could just as easily be a musician, painter, writer, scientist, etc. and not necessarily a martial artist.
J S but in Chinese we would also say “中国功夫” Chinese Kung-Fu so it’s not entirely wrong
And the funny thing is, Martial Art is actually called WuShu in chinese..
Edit: And in more old/traditional method to call martial art in chinese, it is actually WuGong....
Well kung fu is a derivative of kalaripattu modified and transmitted to china by Bodhirama
@Indian Atheist No it is not the mother of all martial arts, although it is old. Martial arts just appeared at several places during the human history.
So the story about bodhi dharma is not true?
These people train like anime protagonists lmao. I wouldnt be surprised if one day theres a 3 sword style master.
3 sword style like zoro

**Tea Masters exist**

Master of Dislocation Kung Fu: "Young people nowadays can't live with the pain"
Find a masochist.
Or a person with pain transmission defiency
That's some good advice.
He's not wrong, younger generations are weak.
Yeah if he just advertised in the paper for the nearest "small Chinese town" he'd surely get about 250,000 masochist volunteers.
Rei Ayanami those are rookie numbers. You gotta bump those up
It really saddens me when cultural traditioms, especially ones that date back so long ago are lost. So i hope enough youth from this generation will carry on and preserve these traditions.
Yeah
Most people now including us are not disciplined to learn this or never get a proper ara or teacher to learn this
I want to learn kalarpiyattu thec74 grand man style but the Brits destroyed all places and made the teacher's prisoners
Tbh they learn mma more often cuz it actually works
unfortunately it involves bone discoloration,,and ,noone is down for that
"i hope to achieve the intergration of teapot and human"

Took me a second to figure out what you were talking about
And some are stout aswell.
@synchromorph respect water. It rearranges it molecules to suit ur emotional state so whether u believe u can or u can't, water is there to assist the belief.
"I shall be short... and stout."
im a little teapot ?
Are we gonna ignore the fact that shes 74 !! 74!!!!
Yes
My grandma is 72 and she can't even walk properly.
So? PEople doing healthy, physical activity for all their live stay strong in old age. Thats not unusual?

Martial arts is not just a physical skill, but a philosophy as well.
Yubi K. True
True
Some don't have their own philosophy but are developed to suit one, whilst others become philosohpies in and of themselves. This is a signficant part of the development of european martial arts (chivalry is in large parts an extention of medieval martial arts wheras rennaisance martial arts were developed to suit rennaisance humanism).
Random wannabe badass.... "You don't want to dance with me, bro."
Taekkyeon student: "Why, yes I do."
😂😂
I love this one 😭👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
“Helping others is my religion” I love that!
You are really great.
When i heard Zhuge Liang invented dat long tea pot , i'm not even surprised anymore...
Still I don't see the logic of it preventing assassinations if anything its even more likely to kill someone with that long Teapot spout itself I mean look at it it's like a Rapier.
Well i don't know anything about that but martial arts can be any form...
it was probably just to make the son chill tbh
@@Ragxdon Exactly; everything he’s doing with that teapot is the exact opposite of what it was apparently designed for.
2:36 this 'holy kung fu' part is fking beautiful. its art in every point.
Being a martial artist dosent make you a warrior, it makes you an artist. A warrior comes from within
Everybody gangsta till they spill his tea
Kalari is one of the oldest surviving martial arts of India, the technique was made specifically for the ancient battlefield where swords, lances, etc were the weapons of war. the word "Kalari" literally means "Battlefield"
"I've always wanted to be a nun ever since I was a little girl" never thought I'd ever hear those words
I was fortunate to have actually started my TaeKwon Do in Providence Rhode Island with Master He Il Cho. This was early 70s. He was at that time a real 6th degree black belt, Korean National Champion. Physically off the charts. He really would knock the stuffing out of a punching bag with his side kicks or back turning kicks. I owe me even walking as well as I do to seeing that. I had just come off back surgery and the consensus at the time 1971, was that I would be lucky to walk.

After watching this video i learned that Everyone can do Anything
Nothing is impossible , with proof !
Actually a bunch of stuff is impossible

Kalari seems more like a choreographed dance with weapons than an actual practical skill for self-defence
Nathan Tew it helps condition the body that’s for sure. A lot of dynamic stretching type exercises
Nathan Tew choreographed style ?!?!...oh man I learned it a while a ago ...the kalari fighters are great experts in delivering quick strikes on body pressure points which will make an opponent paralyzed or lifeless....what you have seen here in the video is master teaching some rookies some basic weapon moves ...The hand to hand combat in kalari or "verumkai" is only meant to kill or immobilize your opponent for a long period... for that ...we have to practise karate kata like moves for several years it's called meypayattu in kalari ...kalari bare hand fight includes some serious striking and grappling moves ...and one more thing mate kalari is not a sporting martial art it's a martial art to kill...
It's not a developed martial art like others, thanks to the British. They banned the practice and use of weapons during the 18th century and killed the people who practiced it. There were very few people practicing the art when we got independence.
What is wrong with a choreograhped fight. Isn't that what pad work is in boxing? Choreography for the purpose of exercising muscle memory
It's the oldest martial arts in the world. Karate & Kung-Fu are derived from Kalari lol. In this video the Kalari you saw was very basic level, you have to actually experience it - it's so much more tougher on the body and way more deadly than JiuJitsu, MMA or pretty much most martial arts rofl
The sound when the fan hits is so satisfying
