1-month-old iRobot Roomba purchased from Amazon doesn't charge

Vacuum Cleaning Robot iRobot Roomba 530, purchased from Amazon, used less than one month, gives error message "Charging Error 1." Amazon, please refund my money.

Charging error 1 means the battery is not detected. The robot will not charge.

Chargeing error 1 is Battery not insatlled try and replae the batery or might have to put one in

The dock is not from Roomba 500, it's fot Roomba 600 or 700.

Charging Error 1 means:
Problem is: Battery is not detected or lost. This Cleaner will not charge.
Solution: Cleaning the Dock or cleaning the contacts or terminals.

call irobot and not amazon when you get in contact with irobot they will send you a new unit with a new battery if needed

Had same problem. Bought after market battery. Worked for a while and same error. Purchased another battery. It works.
