1-month-old iRobot Roomba purchased from Amazon doesn't charge

Vacuum Cleaning Robot iRobot Roomba 530, purchased from Amazon, used less than one month, gives error message "Charging Error 1." Amazon, please refund my money.

Check for a battery if it’s a aftermarket battery it can some problems if there is no battery buy one of iRobot website

Charging Error 1 means: Problem is: Battery is not detected or lost. This Cleaner will not charge. Solution: Cleaning the Dock or cleaning the contacts or terminals.

The dock is not from Roomba 500, it's fot Roomba 600 or 700.

Had same problem. Bought after market battery. Worked for a while and same error. Purchased another battery. It works.

call irobot and not amazon when you get in contact with irobot they will send you a new unit with a new battery if needed

That usually means its charging or doing a 16 hour refresh.
