Fantastic my dudes! Just scored one of these Z ones and yes 🙌 it slams. So glad you guys are offering these pickups alone. Would love to toss those black covers in another one of my reverends. 🤔 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Nice! They sound similar to the existing BC Railhammers (my favourite pickups ever). I'm unsure I will replace his original signature set in my Jazzmaster, but my Les Paul is looking on with envy!

I'd imagine these pickups would allow you to use Lighter Gauge strings on an Archtop Guitar w/o loosing Volume because they're overwound to compensate for the reduced volume

Lighter strings will not reduce your volume much if the alloys and wind remain consistent between the sets. The increased movement of thinner strings with the same touch compensates somewhat for the reduced material.

@@RockStarOscarStern634 I have a trio of Humcutters (Nuevo 90 set and Heavy 90) in a guitar which I am currently wiring: it has more switches than some amps have knobs.

What’s my Kingbolt prototype got on board ?

Lifelong Corgan tone fan, but at least in this demo what I'm hearing sounds like a trip back to a 1990's guitar store, where we'd usually hear the dentist-drill strains of a questionably tuned stock Squire being randomly sawed at through a 15-watt Crate practice amp. Hard to imagine Corgan wanted his name on these. 🤷

This guitar, last night at The World Is a Vampire gig @ Gold Coast, was THE standout sound, among some heavy riffing quality axes, and Jane's Addiction. Lucky I had binoculars, to see these pickup etchings. I'm sold. The harmonic clarity of distortion with Billy's amp dialed to eleven was so distinguishable, from soft & eloquent, high chimes, to a majestic growling resonant roar. Billy's solo moments, unforgettable, because of the tonal manipulations and playing nuances he was conjuring from this guitar. He used this most of the night, only swapping occasionally for the silver version.
Ken here, has managed to describe close to the characteristics of what I heard last night. Thanks man, it wasn't a delusion. But then decides to give it more splatter with an edgy fuzz dialed to the max, haha, riff on! Probably sounded magic in that room. But it's gnarly fuzz character is dialed higher than what I heard last night, and is masking that saturated edgy harmonic clarity. I need to try these Railhammer BC Signature pickups in my SG, instead of installing P90's.

Would I be able to put these into an Epiphone Les Paul?
