ernie ball mammoths in C# are same tension as standard tuning with 10s. won't sound exactly the same as a longer guitar but i prefer it to standard and works with more or less any guitar. i play clean pop/jazz kind of stuff on it, but i'm sure it would be good for heavier things too. still thinner strings than an acoustic. easy to switch back and forth whenever you change strings. i'd try that out first if you're interested in a longer-scale guitar but are having trouble finding one to demo

ATUM - 33 tracks Plus 2 solo Corgan albums. 17 + 11 Tracks = 28. Plus god knows how many actual songs were WRITTEN for those albums and never used. I think they wrote around 80 for ATUM. WPC must write around 50 songs a year.

Why can’t the hipsters use high gain amps to replicate records made on high gain amps. I mean seriously this sounds dreadful & not only undermines the product. It also undermines the idea that CME employ people who actually know their stuff. It reminds me of the time in the mid noughties a Max Les Paul appeared in Denmark St and they sold it for about 1/4 of its value as their hipster staff were unaware of its legacy. 🙄

I get you, but with a longer scale you would use a lighter gauge and it won't sound that muddy.
