So Beautifull, Although it seems the church is starting to have a budding springtime of new vocations I pray that we have a abundant summer of them I noticed at the end the Chinese Nun had bound feet.

A "springtime". You must be joking. Religious vocations have fallen off a cliff compared to the time of the video.

Ah yes the days before Vatican ii

We cant blame everything on Vatican II. the world drastically changed in the 60's and onward. Catholics were taught there faith badly , Abuses allowed to continue and fester in the church came to the surface like sores and pustules and have scarred her face and to this day she has not healed from them. And I think the biggest problem as it is today was and is The arrogance of priests who behave like Princess and do not fully live out the compassionate and charitable nature of christ but seem to think they always have the moral high ground and bully there parishioners or treat them with disdain , that i think has been and is the Problem. I do not agree with everything Pope Francis has done or said but I applied him for calling out such behavior amongst the clergy because that does more damage to the church and her body than all the misinformed teachings and even the sex abuse combined! I once had a Priest get very rude and nasty with me once for asking him after mass to bless a Image of our lady and a Book of hours ! He treated me as if this was a Hudge incumbrancer on him and this was in a Parish were they offer the Old rite of the mass!!!!! I was very insulted and bothered by this but i kept calm thanked him and tried to be civil .....he never gave me anything as much as a" you are welcome" or a "God bless you" or even a smile after it! that is the Problem Vatican 2 can not be wholly blamed for decline in vocations or the church its very complicated

The "rude" priest was in the wrong. On the other he may have been suffering from physical pain or just been told about the death of a parent. We never know what is going on in the lives of others. As for Vatican ll many of its Bishops thought it would bring positive change but it has not unfortunately. This not been helped by bad Popes who have preferred the world to God. There are still many good Catholics but we need proper guidance which we are not receiving. Still God is in charge and He rewards those desire despite the problems. "No one seperate us from Christ" said Saint Paul.

@@ingridlinbohm7682 Yes, forgiveness for all. I think it is notable though that the man whose whole life is dedicated to Christ is unable to embody Christ's peace and love. What news should shake the peace of such a man?

They have totally changed. They gave up the farm 50 years ago and most of the sisters have white hair and all are in secular clothes now. Look at their website. All the Asian sisters were sent back to Singapore or Malaysia.
