They broke up because they felt they started to go on separate paths and have different wants and different goals in the future. They both agreed to breakup and it was mutual but ofc they are both sad and have said it’s been hard but that’s also expected since they were dating for 7 years and that they will continue to always support each other as friends but not as a couple.

It means that to Nicky this is still fresh because he is just starting to deal with it whereas Pierrie has accepted it.

You are so right. If the relationship had soured (someone was abusive or violent) that makes it a little harder. Like Nick said, when you love someone so much that you are willing to let them go to become who they want and need to be, that’s when it’s hard. I still see the love between them. We don’t know what went on when the camera wasn’t on, but it’s clear these two value each other so very much.
I seriously think that they are so strong to pursue their feelings while having a platform based on their relationship, knowing a break up will hurt their channel, they made such a mature decision and handled it amazingly. Sharing your feelings with us probably feels so excruciatingly scary but we support your decision no matter what ❤ it’s your life and you can’t let an audience dictate that. I am not a fan of these social media or public relationships, even on TV, but THESE TWO just warmed my heart, made me smile, made me laugh, brightened my day, and now made me cry. There's literally no reason I should feel invested in their relationship beyond entertainment, but it almost feels like we all know them. It's easy to get lost in their beauty - and they are both stunningly beautiful men, but the love on display is the real beauty. So many commented on how Pierre kept looking at Nicky to make sure he is OK and that speaks volumes to their commitment. This is what the end of a relationship should look like. I always felt that if you truly loved someone, you want the best for them...even if that turns out not to be with you. They say they needed to grow and it was necessary to do that apart, and we should all respect that. I hope they really do always support each other, and I wish them all the happiness, success and love that life can offer.

i stopped watching this couple a while ago, it had to have been a couple months before this video came out. They were one of my favorite couples. I saw a video and someone pointed out how weird it was to watch after the break up, and then i found this. It sucks that they broke up but hopefully they’re happier now!

When i first came across your videos i was so surprised at how young you two were and how so much in love you two were. As time continued i saw the love never falter and the true friendship you two shared. So important in a relationship. I watched you grow into such loving individuals that had different views and characters and you made it work. You laughed, danced and more. You showed us intellect grace and compassion. It looked like everything you shared came naturally and beautifully. I'm saddened that a wedge has come between two such blessed souls. To have such love for each is a blessing. I cannot help that with time you two will come full circle. At least that's what my heart wants for you both. There is so much laughter, tenderness, contentment and so much more that social media has captured between you that we are saddened by the news. I truly wish my ex could have done this, however they became real bitter and mean and couldn’t let go and started using our kids to try to hurt me. So whenever I see couples able to part amicably and be good to one another even if it didn’t work out is just great to see. It hurts so much more to have to end a relationship because you can both see that you can’t have a future together without someone eventually resenting the other for having to sacrifice the way they wanted their life to be. To love and care for someone so much but still know you don’t have have a future together where you’re both happy is devastating. It’s so sad. It there really are relationships where you can love each other so much that you realize seeing that person be fundamentally unhappy would be so much worse than being apart of

I'm sharing an insight here gained from watching a recent video posted by Pierre in March 2024. Pierre was very emotional, crying and talking in somewhat vague terms about appreciating what you have and to not always be seeking "something" when what you have is good. He never came right out and said it, but I was reading "between the lines" and my take on this video was that life, for him, wasn't better now and I think the realization that HE chose to move on from Nicky was a decision that he now regrets. He kept saying "maybe I'm just tired"but then would cry again. I'm not a psychotherapist, and I may be totally wrong, but I don't think so. The video on the next day, he was all happy and dismissed his obvious sadness on "just being tired". One thing I've learned in all my years is that it's OK to admit that whatever decisions you've made, might be wrong and there is no rule that you MUST live with those decisions. I think that Pierre and Nicky could have grown together and been happy and not feel the only way they could be themselves and be happy was to do so separately. I think it's very sad because I don't think Pierre is allowing himself to realize that he might have been happier with Nicky than he is now and regretting that decision that I think was his. It's never too late to admit you were wrong and try to win back someone you love that you thought you had moved on from. The chance you take is that THEY may have actually moved on too, even though the choice to separate was yours(Pierre). In this video if you watch closely Pierre makes those statements and then looks at Nicky for him to agree. It all makes sense, 7 months later.

As a 66 yo I just started to watch your videos and just loved them. So glad to see people in love and made me smile. I watched this video and I understand where you both are coming from. That was probably the first thing I noticed….how Pierre couldn’t take his eyes off of Nicky, which they said at the beginning it had been a while since they were next to each other. Also, how badly Pierre seemed to want to touch, console, comfort, and love Nicky. Of course, I wish them both happiness in whatever they do and whomever they choose, but there’s this small part of me that secretly hopes this was just a way to kill the brand so they could be together in peace, you know what I mean? I only found you guys about a week ago and I found you in a moment that I really needed some joy in my life. I don't think I'll ever understand the concept of we just grew apart. I've studied it and my parents, family and friends. I've also never had a partner that has been this kind and communicative and empathetic during a very difficult moment such as this. I've had a very long-term relationship and then 2 shorter term. The magnitude of how much in a relationship can affect you has nothing to do with how long you are together, but it has everything to do with what is brought to the teamwork during the time you have. With the grace of God, friends and family. I picked myself up from the ground, literally. I also was faced with a huge health crisis a month after the break up. It's been hell to go through and I'm only just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's been a two year journey healing.. But yeah, growing apart is not some thing I understand because I fight like hell for the presents and to help each other. See what we have and value that because in the world, it's so rare. I don't usually watch these youtubers but I came across a video so I started watching their shorts and thinking about how good they looked and seemed together and then on one, I saw a comment of them being broke up and my jaw dropped
It’s so hard because it’s not ending because of something horrible. I think it is pretty clear that they have a deep bond and connection. Everything about Nick felt off in this video until he allowed himself to be completely vulnerable. And that’s when the pain really became evident. There is still love there, and that’s why it’s so hard.

I'm a 55-year old lesbian and me and my ex-wife parted ways about 14 years ago and it was a very loving experience. She remarried a few years later and we've stayed friends. I consider it a successful (not a failed) relationship because we loved each other. It was very hard to break up because we were part of a large lesbian social group and they all looked up to us as we were a few of the oldest in the group and had gotten "married" (ceremoniously) back before it was being done much. People were always referring to us as a role model so it felt like a failure when we ended the relationship. But, it was not a failure. I don't believe all relationships are meant to be lifelong. People DO change and I think what's probably more natural is to have a series of relationships, one when you're younger, one in your mid adult years and (hopefully) one for your later years to grow old with. I LOVE seeing people break up respectfully like this. Unless you're in a toxic relationship where you need to remove that person from your life, there's no reason it can't be this way where you always care for each other. It's very mature. I can see that Pierre is more comfortable talking about and feeling his emotions and it's so good that he's encouraging Nicky to share his feelings too. I was that person who was uncomfortable talking about my feelings but it's SOO IMPORTANT to force yourself to talk about them at least sometimes and allow yourself to FEEL them. You mature so much when you do that. And you become a more compassionate person in the process. Thank you for sharing your story and being a positive role model. I wish you guys all the best!

You are so right. If the relationship had soured (someone was abusive or violent) that makes it a little harder. Like Nick said, when you love someone so much that you are willing to let them go to become who they want and need to be, that’s when it’s hard. I still see the love between them. I am not a fan of these social media or public relationships, even on TV, but THESE TWO just warmed my heart, made me smile, made me laugh, brightened my day, and now made me cry. There's literally no reason I should feel invested in their relationship beyond entertainment, but it almost feels like we all know them. It's easy to get lost in their beauty - and they are both stunningly beautiful men, but the love on display is the real beauty. So many commented on how Pierre kept looking at Nicky to make sure he is OK and that speaks volumes to their commitment. This is what the end of a relationship should look like. I always felt that if you truly loved someone, you want the best for them...even if that turns out not to be with you. They say they needed to grow and it was necessary to do that apart, and we should all respect that. I hope they really do always support each other, and I wish them all the happiness, success and love that life can offer.

When i first came across your videos i was so surprised at how young you two were and how so much in love you two were. As time continued i saw the love never falter and the true friendship you two shared. So important in a relationship. I watched you grow into such loving individuals that had different views and characters and you made it work. You laughed, danced and more. You showed us intellect grace and compassion. It looked like everything you shared came naturally and beautifully. I'm saddened that a wedge has come between two such blessed souls. To have such love for each is a blessing. There is so much laughter, tenderness, contentment and so much more that social media has captured between you that we are saddened by the news. It hurts so much more to have to end a relationship because you can both see that you can’t have a future together without someone eventually resenting the other for having to sacrifice the way they wanted their life to be. I'm sharing an insight here gained from watching a recent video posted by Pierre in March 2024. Pierre was very emotional, crying and talking in somewhat vague terms about appreciating what you have and to not always be seeking "something" when what you have is good. He never came right out and said it, but I was reading "between the lines" and my take on this video was that life, for him, wasn't better now and I think the realization that HE chose to move on from Nicky was a decision that he now regrets. He kept saying "maybe I'm just tired"but then would cry again. I'm not a psychotherapist, and I may be totally wrong, but I don't think so. The video on the next day, he was all happy and dismissed his obvious sadness on "just being tired". One thing I've learned in all my years is that it's OK to admit that whatever decisions you've made, might be wrong and there is no rule that you MUST live with those decisions. I think that Pierre and Nicky could have grown together and been happy and not feel the only way they could be themselves and be happy was to do so separately. I think it's very sad because I don't think Pierre is allowing himself to realize that he might have been happier with Nicky than he is now and regretting that decision that I think was his. It's never too late to admit you were wrong and try to win back someone you love that you thought you had moved on from. The chance you take is that THEY may have actually moved on too, even though the choice to separate was yours(Pierre). In this video if you watch closely Pierre makes those statements and then looks at Nicky for him to agree. It all makes sense, 7 months later.

I only found you guys about a week ago and I found you in a moment that I really needed some joy in my life. I don't think I'll ever understand the concept of we just grew apart. I've studied it and my parents, family and friends. I've also never had a partner that has been this kind and communicative and empathetic during a very difficult moment such as this. I've had a very long-term relationship and then 2 shorter term. The magnitude of how much in a relationship can affect you has nothing to do with how long you are together, but it has everything to do with what is brought to the teamwork during the time you have. With the grace of God, friends and family. I picked myself up from the ground, literally. I also was faced with a huge health crisis a month after the break up. It's been hell to go through and I'm only just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's been a two year journey healing..
But yeah, growing apart is not some thing I understand because I fight like hell for the presents and to help each other. See what we have and value that because in the world, it's so rare.

It’s so hard because it’s not ending because of something horrible. I think it is pretty clear that they have a deep bond and connection. Everything about Nick felt off in this video until he allowed himself to be completely vulnerable. And that’s when the pain really became evident. There is still love there, and that’s why it’s so hard.

I'm a 55-year old lesbian and me and my ex-wife parted ways about 14 years ago and it was a very loving experience. She remarried a few years later and we've stayed friends. I consider it a successful (not a failed) relationship because we loved each other. It was very hard to break up because we were part of a large lesbian social group and they all looked up to us as we were a few of the oldest in the group and had gotten "married" (ceremoniously) back before it was being done much. People were always referring to us as a role model so it felt like a failure when we ended the relationship. But, it was not a failure. I don't believe all relationships are meant to be lifelong. People DO change and I think what's probably more natural is to have a series of relationships, one when you're younger, one in your mid adult years and (hopefully) one for your later years to grow old with.
I LOVE seeing people break up respectfully like this. Unless you're in a toxic relationship where you need to remove that person from your life, there's no reason it can't be this way where you always care for each other. It's very mature. I can see that Pierre is more comfortable talking about and feeling his emotions and it's so good that he's encouraging Nicky to share his feelings too. I was that person who was uncomfortable talking about my feelings but it's SOO IMPORTANT to force yourself to talk about them at least sometimes and allow yourself to FEEL them. You mature so much when you do that. And you become a more compassionate person in the process. Thank you for sharing your story and being a positive role model. I wish you guys all the best!
