The year is 2088. I trapped myself in a cryogenic chamber. I wake up and ask the first person I see; “when was the last time epicnate posted a Skyrim top 5 video?”
Future person: “uhhm about an hour ago, top 5 unusual rocks in Skyrim”
Me: “thank god, there’s hope for humanity”

Tiny details you might not have included in a video:
-The dragon at the Western Watchtower may say "Dovahkiin no," as you slay him
-There are noticeably more female Stormcloaks than Imperials (possibly due to historical accuracy for the Vikings and Romans)
-The people in the Soul Cairn may say that "They're always watching," which might be referring to the fact that the sky in the Cairn resembles an eye that is always directly overhead, no matter where you are
-The Volkihar ruins have a statue of Mara, candles still lit (What would vampires want with a statue to the love goddess?)
-There is a size difference between male and female werewolves
-When speaking to Serana, asking about her family will prompt her to ask the player about their family, allowing the player to decide on their character's past and how their family was

Collectively human who shapeshift into animal form are called therianthropes. Both wolfs and bears are pretty common forms of this across cultures. Interesting parallels in Norse culture are the beserker and ulfhednar. Though not traditionally shapeshifters, they would engage in trance inducing rituals before battle to take on the spirit of the bear and wolf respectively. Supposedly this allowed them to be stronger, faster, and ignore pain. Berserker means bear shirt and ulfhednar means wolf pelt reflecting that they were known for wearing their respective animal pelts.

I personally always saw the earth mothers as simply being incredibly ancient spriggans. Their bodies are dark because the bark that their bodies are made up of has become petrified, hence the name "earth" mother. However, with age comes wisdom, and so the earth mothers are far more powerful than their younger counterparts.
As to the purple glow, there a bunch of different possibilities. Perhaps, rather than the green mosses and leaves that the lesser spriggans have domain over, the earth mothers associate more with rare funguses and vegetation found deep underground like those in Blackreach. It could also be that the earth mothers utilize a form of nature magic completely separate from the standard spriggans, purple being a closer match to the pallet of storm atronachs, which, as we know, also are quite rock-like in appearance.

I know that this video was uploaded some time ago, but i want to say what i think too so... In TES IV Oblivion, during the questline of knights of the nine there was a specific quest in wich we had to retrive a specific piece of armor with the blessing of kynareth within a cave, inside that cave you can find two passive spriggan guarding the relic... Now i don't think that a divine would place daedric creature to guard her greatest relic so, in my humble opinion spriggans are some kind of extencions of kynareth herself in someway.... Maybe not extention... But hell... They should have some great role
