Had this dude just start tailgating for no reason. Caught up to see what was going on. He was just driving poorly in general. Wanted to show him that he can’t touch motorcycles.

Petty for the motorcycle guy to turn what might have been a driving mistake into a confrontation. And then doing an illegal pass between a merging car and the traffic flow. He endangered everyone around him with his little pissy fit. The real macho answer to the problem was to be an adult and accept that people make judgment errors and carry on with your day as if nothing happened.
Dude wasn’t making a judgement error - he had been tailgating me for miles - and got to within feet of my bumper there. Remember - the camera makes it look a lot further than it really was. Dude was on one.

I really don’t want anything bad to happen to you, people are different now they’ll purposely hit you, run you off the road, or possibly use the pew pew on you all for only pulling up next to them and giving them a look they don’t like. No amount of my experience, your experience, or anyone’s experience will protect you if someone wants to do you harm especially when you’re right next to them.

So, tell me if I'm wrong, but you were in the left lane, which supposedly is only for passing, someone else going faster is coming behind you, you have a lot of space to move to the right and let him pass, but yet, you chose not to. He is a total @sshole for tailgating and coming so close to you, but you're also an @sshole for not moving to the right, and not letting someone who wants to go faster, pass you.
A few points. I was in a special HOV / toll lane. Not just the “fast lane”. This happened at a section where the HOV actually had two lanes - with one of them exiting. I had no option to leave that lane unless I wanted to be back in main traffic. Also I was slowing down because traffic was slowing to a stop in front of me. You can see at one point in the video that there is a car almost fully stopped in front of me. Also this dude was actually about a foot or two from my bumper at one point. Keep in mind the camera makes it look even further than it really was. This guy was putting my life in danger while I tried to slow down because of stopped cars in front of me.
@@SeattleSpeed Ok, knocking so near to your bumper was not a good act, but when he started to ask to pass (at 0:03) you weren't in the special lane, and when he decide to overtake you at left there was no reasons to interfere speeding up (at 0:25). He did it while I was slowing down for traffic too. Trying to keep me from being able to safely brake for stopped cars in front of me. The reason he took off was because he was trying to avoid the stopped cars… I wanted to just go say hi and remind him that he isn’t “winning” since he seemed to think traffic was a race. There’s nothing he can do to “win” against a bike. See later in the video he was tailgating the car in front of him trying to get ahead and to block me from coming over? Dude is a mad bad driver tbh.

And the dude who was trying to climb inside me cut someone else off and did exit there. I followed him to see what was up after that… But normally if there’s traffic there it clears out and then the toll lane is faster again. So sometimes you just wait it out. You’re just wrong dude.

That’s not the “left lane”. It’s the toll lane. And I was slowing for traffic in front of me. The only bad driver here is the SUV. Dude was way closer than the camera makes it look.
