We did a service on 2012 Chevy Cobalt so we are going to reset the light so we turn the key on. You see the change engine oil soon message over here on the left side of the steering column there is a button here it says menu press menu and it changes we go to option and then we come back over here to the stick and we turn this up and down okay when we do that it changes the selection screen that selection screen says that remaining oil life is zero percent toggle back again it says press set clear to reset set clear is the button on the end of the stick here press it and hold then it says are you sure that you want to reset you scroll up and press the set clear button again and it resets the remaining oil life to 100 percent there we go have a wonderful day
