Mind you, if he disputes the claim, the corporation in question can easily take it to court. Even if they are in the wrong, they have an insane amount of money to bleed in a legal battle, which a creator can not do. They are basically allowed to get away with crime by having money.

It is a rule in law that if the corporation has overwhelmingly lost the case then they must pay fireborn's costs for defending against their action and in some cases a penalty. But it would have to be a very clear cut case where the corporation is clearly very wrong.

I watched the video, he literally talked about how it was an AI article and that was completely wrong. It was spreading misinformation about hollow knight. He also already made a different video that was completely about that article and it didn’t get copyright strikes. CZcams needs to change the system and that article needs to be taken down.
We need to make sure that this doesn't work. Lets make sure that we bring attention to these scummy awful practices.
I have seen multiple videos by other creators that show much more of Valnet articles. Most of those videos were pointing out flaws in the articles/making fun of them, and scrolled through the entire article on screen. There was no issue with those. It's RIDICULOUS that Fireborn got a copyright strike for showing an article's title for 5 seconds.

Alright so as everyone will know if they have seen Tom Scott’s video- the YT copyright system is designed for people on equal legal standing. So- what if the HK community fundraised a legal challenge. He would undoubtedly win- any judge would conclude that that’s fair use.
That’s pretty much what Fireborn is saying on twitter too. That if he disputes it they might take it to court and he doesn’t have the funds to legally fight a big corporation

Well, not like he hadn’t done this himself when “I used to roll the dice” meme video started to make rounds on internet and he got unhappy when “gamers” were signified by image of the Knight wearing student hat, which is his yt pfp, so the video was taken down entirely and was redownloaded after this image was blurred out.
Not like the guy making a meme was planning to make profits out of it, but it really soured my view on fireborn after he saw it justified to bonk a relatively harmless meme containing an image that while related to him isn’t even all that original. What goes around, comes around. Sorry for the guy but I find it hard to feel sympathetic after what I mentioned.
