- The Academy of Danse Libre performs a vintage dance called Elana Waltz at the weekly social dance party. Danse Libre is a dance group that performs Victorian ballroom dances.

Very emotional takes you back to a different age, When dance was dance and it made your heart sing. Bring back the waltz , brings back the waltz.

This was a wonderful performance. They don't teach these steps in the standard dance studio. This is old time waltzing at its very best. i love to waltz and I'm constantly learning to do more steps. I try with heart and soul to make a waltz elegant.

I am a ballroom dancer... ( as we call it.. ) my mother ad father became partners when they started their relationship and danced competitions. one day I thought I'd try.... LOVED IT!! I would recommend it!! if you want to just search the internet there are many great places out there!

You do "spotting'. Basically you focus on something in the direction that you will be going. so quickly turn your head to that spot in order to not get dizzy. After a little practicing you will do it automatically even without doing it if you dance long enough and practice long enough you won't get dizzy anymore. It's just mostly spotting it helps and many other dancers do it....For example people who dance ballet or figure skate they do it too.
You Can get them online or at costume shops. You will most likely have to get them made if you want it to fit well and match your hight or even want to cordinate. ye.... this reply is kinda late xD
If you are single/have no dance partner try private lessons usually you can pick a male instructor and he can dance with you. it's easier to learn that way and you will have a partner!
Where did the girls get their dresses? I seriously want to go to prom dressed like that!!
