Skil was a professional tool company that went down hill to diy junk, but now they are coming back with a vengance after someone bought out the company. Skil is making a comeback for sure.

Can these saw be used for cutting tiles if I put an appropriate blade?
I wonder if those skil batteries can fit with our USA skil tools?
Be advised that skil has 2 grades of tools in the same line !!! There are brushed motors, which he demonstrated here, cheaper, and available as tool only, complete kits with battery and charger do exist. the Brushless is the higher cost version and the saw is available ONLY as a complete Kit, and you can spot quickly because the brushless saw is a RIGHT side blade only and the blade guard is light grey !!! Be aware !!!!

The brushless version is not available in EU. @woodshed design I posted a video where my brand new saw sparks. Did yours do the same when new?
hi i didn't notice any sparks when I use it the first time 🤔 but I would not be worry tomuch some times my drills sparks.

Can it be used with the right blade to cut masonry like tiles etc?
That I am not sure 🤔 I think there should not be any problem 🤔
