This video is so very different than anything I have seen her do. It's very earthy and dramatic with color and wind and the pyramids behind her making a true artistic video. Love it!

With the overall theme of "Duality", I'm thinking that the story here is "good" vs "evil", but they are all sides to the same person. Black and White being the concept of yin and yang, and perhaps Red being the individual as a whole? By the end, Red accepts both sides of herself, causing the war within herself to settle. At least, this is my immediate interpretation haha! Absolutely love this song and the use of the violin and vocals to represent the different characters!
This was my thought process too especially with what she said in the pre-show. I don’t think it was “evil” in traditional sense but more shadow self or the part that has been deemed wrong in the eyes of “society.”
I also like what another commenter said about (going off memory and paraphrasing, it was a translation too) the red chasing away the darkness and only victory remains.
I love the innocent look in the face of the woman in white, contrasted with the others.
For her first song, Eye of the Untold Her was about her past, and what she has going for her now in the present and future. Inner Gold is about following your own way. Here, it seems to be about that exact thing, but remember there's two sides to you that make you whole. And as you mention, that will war within you until you come to grips with that. With both sides. In other terms...you gotta pull a Zuko lol.
And manacles on the wrists of all 3. Golden, and sometimes elaborate manacles, but evoking being a slave to the human condition regardless. It's hard to ignore such symbolism when the story of the Exodus is tied so closely to the images we see in the background. Lots of symbols in this one. I suspect there's quite a bit she wants to say, but maybe a fair amount for the audience to over-interpret or misinterpret =D
I thought red was maybe passion (which can be both good and bad), and the contrast was the grayish outfit from the first shot, which could be something like calm (once again, can be good and bad).

0:08 I love that there are not a lot of instruments in this part. It feels like it describes the calmness of the desert. Nice shot of stone blocks. Nice tone of the drum.
1:24 Interesting drums sound again - like tuned down frame drum. The texture of the fabric on her dress matches the lines on the pyramids. Nice detail.
1:55 The wavy color pattern matches the wavy texture of the dunes. Environmental fashion :D
3:31 That is a pretty reflection in the eyes.
I always love when she starts her songs with the string plucking. It just adds a whole different vibe to it.

When I saw 0:22 for the first time, there was only one word in my mind: "Wow" - and this word describes the whole video. Especially if you know the stories behind the scenes, how difficult everything was, from outfit changes to editing. (And that's why I love behind the scenes stuff. With that in mind, I appreciate the videos even more).

Lindsey Stirling has come so far. From when I started watching her at least than 1,000 subs like 13 ish years ago. Dancing around and playing ge violin. She is so talented and gorgeous. I wish she would sing more. Because I know she has a great voice. Not sure why she doesn't sing. But a violin and dancing around like a fairy does take a lot out of you. She is so talented and amazing. Such an amazing story going from nothing to this.
The only thing more mesmerizing than Lindsey in this video is her DRESSES. This is so amazing. The power and skill...I can't say enough.

I used to be my elementary school's Science Lab Teacher. During my breaks, I would allow the visiting Violin Teacher to use mr lab as a classroom. While she was unpacking and sitting up her stuff, I would play your videos on the big projection board at the front of the room for the kids (all girls).
They loved the videos and music, and the Violin Teacher told me that they inspired her students to do their best.

It’s awesome to see how far she’s come since the tiny venues and ice sculpture video. I think the black outfit is extremely striking on her. All the costumes are lovely, but the black one is my favorite.
Talent. It is talent, SKILLS, and determination (that means hard determined work). There is few these days that can appreciate this level of skill and determination. I love you Lindsey you have kept me vibrant for over a decade.
The editing, the transitions between light and dark, the scenery, costumes, the lighting all of it was so fricking good!
I think she's gotten more comfortable/confident in her vocals because those vocals were strong!

When I first heard this song on Pandora, I imagined an Evil Twin ruining their twins life by making the Good Twin seem like they were bad, when the real twin knew it was the Evil one's doing, the real villain behind the mask. Seriously, Lindsey's music just creates all these really cool stories and video ideas in my head that I want to bring to life! Especially this one! I love Lindsey Stirling so much! Reason why I started playing violin in the first place in 5th grade, now at the end of my sophomore year in Highschool, her music still makes my jaw drop and amazes me 🤩🤯🤨❤️🔥

Oh my gosh, I love this video! I get the evil twin aspect with the black and white, but what was the red personifying? (EDIT: Someone suggested that the black and white are the two halves of a person, whereas red is the person whole, accepting themselves for the light and dark sides of themselves. I think that's beautiful).

Her music it's so moving. I'm always in awe when I listen to everything she comes out with. She's definitely evolved her music so much since she first went on her own after trying to add dubstep into her music. A true Legend in my opinion. I hope never stops making music
