You're definitely getting the hang of it. 👍
I've got the same grinder and like it a lot. Very cost effective for how much work mine gets done. I've found that keeping a leaf blower handy, and getting off the tractor and blowing the chafe out of the way every once in a while, helps with visibility, and knowing how you're doing.
Nice 👍
Wow. Yup that works really well. Looks like you have it all dialed for sure Ed. Cheers
I’ve learned to take my time. 😄
Your timing is incredible, Ed. I went to the Overlook first thing yesterday morning and brought home my WG24 to do some work, and hours later, this pops up! Great minds, I suppose. 👍
Great video, as always. Great shots, great edit. And BTW, your experience with the grinder really shows...good spatial awareness, no "bucking" and excellent cutting passes. Well done. 👍
Definitely great timing because I was thinking about you and wondering if you have been using it 😄
Awesome video, great videography!!!
Thanks brotha! 😄
Ed, to make your life a lot easier I would suggest you look info an imatch or equivalent to assist you in hooking up your implements. The imatch is JD, but there are many good ones out there, and they will certainly make your life easier. I have had one for almost 20 yrs., and would never mess around with the old type 3pt hook ups. thanks, Bob
Thanks Bob. The Pats system is new to me but really works well!
Sorry I missed your first video of the assembly of the unit.......
Hi Ed, great video. Been looking at getting one of these. Probably have a dozen or more stumps around the property that need grinding. Looks like it does great job. May have to go ahead and get one on order. Thanks for sharing.
Good Evening Sir Ed, That is a very meticulous close view of your Stump Grinder At Work 🧐👌👍💪 Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Work and Be Well Sir Cheers 👍👌😇🍻
Thanks David. Almost ASMR, right? 🤣
VERY close-up. I think the stump looks like a high-heel shoe 👞.
I don’t think I would have the patience to move back and forth like that with the tractor. I rented a commercial grinder with 2 neighbors and we did over 50 stumps in one day and the machine articulated back and forth. I’m glad it works well for you!
Good idea with that many stumps to grind. 👍
Looking good. I assembled my Grinder two days ago but haven't had time to eat any trees yet.
Nice! You’ll love it.
I've had the same stump grinder for a few years now and probably ground out over 100 stumps. When I purchased it from woodland mills I also got an extra set of teeth for it. Haven't had to change any of them yet, the original teeth are just as sharp today as they were new. Woodland mills makes great products for sure. I really want to get the woodland mills chipper, just have to find the funds.
They do make great products! The WC68 chipper is one of my most used attachments. 👍
@lonewolfFirearms Same here!! Just curious, how are your teeth holding up? I'm still on the original set, but am considering rotating some of the inner teeth to the outside soon. Fortunately I don't have many rocks, but I occasionally find buried "treasure" in the stumps. :)
Ok Sold! Get up here and start grinding all these dead ash tree stumps I have!
I’ll be right there!
Take your shotgun, Ross has some big @ss whasp up there!
Love my Woodland Mills stump grinder. Mine loves eating green stumps. They cut so much better than old dry stumps. You've come a long ways experience wise and it shows.
Thank you! Yes I’ve learned to take smaller bites and take my time.
I’ve had the same grinder for a couple years now. I’ve ground countless stumps and has been worth every penny. Thanks for the video
Awesome. Thank you!
You are getting good with that grinder Ed! Cheers!
Thanks Gord! Slow and steady grinds the stump! 😄
I have heard all great things about WOODLAND MILLS.
Good stuff!
Really disappointed that you didn't play that stupid song about you really glad I m here. I will probably get over it, but really didn't need to suffer through this sort of pain unnecessarily.
Haha! I play it every Monday night livestream. I’ll have to throw it in another video for you.
Nice video, Ed. Are the grinding teeth sharpenable, or do you have to replace them? Thanks!
They are replaceable. They are carbide so I’m not sure how sharpenable the they are. According to comments I’ve read, they last a long time!
I love the intro music! What track/artist is that?
Thanks! It’s called Saddle Up. The artist is Wastelander. I license music through SoundStripe (affiliate link in description). Here’s the song:

This is a really pleasant video to watch. I have a question or rather a couple of questions. Some of these are Colleen’s. Was your wife there helping you move forward and move backwards or are you actually able to see the grinder from your seat? Question number two is, did you get a quote for what a job would charge to do that work that you just did in this video? Without using actual numbers, I was wondering if the price of the professional came close to the actual cost of the grinder? I would be guessing that the quote for the job would be close to One third the price of the grinder anyway we had a lot of fun watching your video as usual, keep up the great work
Hi Ed & Colleen. No, I was doing this myself. I can see the cutting wheel of I look behind me. Not easily, mind you. I bought the stump grinder because I can cut a tree and grind the stump as needed. I had a quote for one large stump for $200. I think this will pay for itself soon. Thanks for these thoughtful questions!
Sir,plz check your email😊😊
