The way he holds the blades botthers me. I like how hasbro did it with their studio series by tabing the blade into the back of the hands giving the illusion that it came out of his forearms.
It's definitely a turn off for me too, but probably not enough for me to turn him down, especially since he's probably the best (and cheapest) on the market rn

But he could be alive in bayverse . there was a vote which autobot you like the most and most of the autobots were alive ones but there was sideswipe and ironhide even tho they weren't used in TF4 and TF5 so this could mean they will be alive
Looked more like the generic autobot fodder body type to me. The white autobot in the cybertron scene has the same shoulder vents as two other generic soldiers
You could always cut the pegs off those hip hydraulics and align them against the leg when you move it. It might be extra fuss but it would improve motion a lot
I like that they add little improvements, but wish they wouldn't oversize it. Deluxe Sideswipe commands high prices on the second hand market if you missed him, but these Black Mamba super oversized figs don't scale well with anything other than themselves.
Well, the corvette logo isn't an exact recreation, it looks more like a chevron shape, instead of the racing flags, and a corvette is also a type of ship, so technically, they can claim they aren't using the car's name

Yeah idk I want a upscale of the studio series version, this figure/mold is great but you can see the age. The studio series version is just a perfect version for me especially with an upscale I’m sure the could tackle that back pack. Also have to disagree with you on the face sculpts.

I love the figure, but I have one major thing I wish for... Weapon integration. Make the swords part of the cape or door and make the guns into a spoiler or part of his exhaust pipes. Amazing figure though
Esily popping hydraulics on the hips are way better than easily snapping hydraulics in the hips. That's mi absolute fear every time I touch my ROTF Sideswipe.
