    Jean thank you! I have learned something new. I like how you encouraged the water with the pipette at the bottom of the ink. I have sprayed the whole line in the past and what a mess I had made. This is Beautiful!!

    Love this. My favorite part was when you turned it upside down and let the ground granulating colors flow towards the horizon. Great techniques. I’d love to see more on using a mix granulating and non-granulating paints, and where you would choose to use the different ones in your painting. Thank you for posting. 💙🌵

    This is lovely, Jean! Perfect for testing how these colours play together! Have you tried it on Clairefontaine Flamboyant paper (50%cotton, 50%cellulose, ‘moon surface’-like) -no need for granulation medium and it enhances the granulating effect of the colours!

    Fantastic thank you. I have a few Daniel Smith granulation colours I bought to play with one day, so will give it a go this weekend. Did you just water the paints down with water or granulation medium Jean ?

    Your painting style is so stunning! Do you mind sharing what you had in the pipette that you drizzled on the sepia acrylic ink? And is there a reason you chose acrylic liquid ink over watercolor liquid ink? Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and creativity with us!

    • @JeanLurssen
      @JeanLurssen  Před 3 lety

      Thanks Barbara. I used water in th pipette with the acrylic ink to make it granulate. I like how acrylic inks react with watercolors.

    Two questions. Which paper did you use? And why did you use acrylic ink rather than watercolor? Does it give more coverage? Love your videos!

    • @JeanLurssen
      @JeanLurssen  Před 4 lety +1

      I used Arches hot pressed 140lb paper. I also like to combine acrylic inks with watercolor for special effects. The sepia granulates and creates interesting textures when used with watercolors.
