  • For the first time in centuries, women from Himalayan communities are being empowered to reach the highest levels of spiritual attainment. 'Life on the Edge' goes inside Shey Naro Photang nunnery in Ladkah to film with the Drukpa Buddhist nuns now mastering Kung Fu -- and learning the ancient Dragon Dance.

It is not forbidden but was introduced in Drukpa Kagyu for nuns. All Tibetan Buddhist schools do not practice Kungfu.

    Gospel TRUTHS.
JESUS himself Taught the Blessings to his Disciples.
    MATTHEW Chapter 5 | VERSES 3 - 12
The way the Kung fu NUNS buy the neglected animals they encounter to give them a better life. Proves that they have a built-in Mercy. With their Peacemaker Nature they deserve many blessings from JESUS himself. (It sounds strange, but it's just there)
    ** VERSE 7
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
    ** VERSE 9
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
    SINCERELY YOURS,
    LUV And RESPECT YOU !

That is a wonderful, useful advancement for women. But please allow them to learn more self defense techniques to keep themselves safe because the world has been a terrible place for women in particular. Men’s karma improves with women’s advancement.

Kungfu is not forbidden. Kungfu is not even practiced. Just because you don't do it or eat doesn't mean it is forbidden. For instance, tropical fruits are not forbidden in high Himalaya but simply are not there. Kungfu is not practiced in Tibet or in Himalaya but monks and laypeople alike.
