And Asian movies are rich with history as Americans have a lie in ours, told by evil people that today reek havoc throughout the realm...Many of us are awake and desire truth. Bodhidharma as the name suggest is no Chinese name right. he is an Indian who travelled to china and taught ancient Indian martial arts which Chinese are claiming today. Every country likes to twist history as they wish but it won't change anything. Whether Buddhist or not it doesn't matter everything is a branch from sanatana dharma (Hinduism) . Gautama the Buddha as the name suggest is alo Indian. Gautama became a Buddha and Buddha is an avatar of lord vishnu in hindusim. No matter how much u think u are different or special u r not. The true history of india is hidden from us. Whole india was buddhist till 12th century. The indus valley civilization was buddhist. The time period between 1500-500 bc is buddhist and not vedic & had 28 buddhas starting from tanhankara buddha ending with gautama buddha. So aryan migration didnt happen but a branch came to india in 7th century as islam captured iran. The parallel vaigai valley civilization was also buddhist. Early tamili and pali(both evolved from same script) evolved from ~600bc. The proof of these 28 buddhas is solid from inscriptions, traveller accounts(like fa hien notes)and other evidences. For example konagamana buddha is mentioned in asokas inscriptions, and so on. Another instance is we can see picture and notes on vipassi buddha from cave 17 of ajantha. Yet another instance is the idols of the kasappa and konagamana buddhas found in digging in Sannati in Karnataka. Buddha simply means enlightened and after gautam buddha too we had buddhas like asvagosha, tilopa, marpa ,naropa, vasubandhu, asanga, atisha, etc from north and bodhisena(who travelled to japan),bodhidharma (who travelled to china), dhammapala, nagarjuna, vajrabodhi, buddhadhata, etc from south; and outside india lao tzu, chang tzu, dogen, rinzai, kyozan, etc. Takshashila university was there at the time of buddha, and nalanda university was during by nanda empire--so pre asoka was also sraman/buddhist(infact,chandragupta maurya, grandfather of asoka, renounced his kingdom and became a disciple of the great jina/buddha badrabahu(who was from karnataka-kerala) and meditated in a cave in sravanabelagola---so pre asoka was sraman/buddhist tradition) [also note jina/jaina(meaning victor/ conqueror over papam/sin to attain moksha) and buddha(meaning realised one/ moksha attainer) are synonyms---it is only that today's historians separated and classified them under different categories]. In south part of india, we had universities like kanthaloor, kanchipuram, nagavi. All indian kingdoms/empires like cheras, cholas, pandyans, kalabhras, gupta, rastrakuta, pallavas, chalukyas, gurjara prathiharas, palas till 12th century were buddhist/samana. Some people from iran came after 8th century(first wave they came to gujarat and sindh)and were allowed refuge by buddhist kings. This was at a time when buddhists developed sanskrit from pali/prakrit. So sanskrit took form only in 7th century. What these iranians did is that they got into buddhist universities and places and slowly started capturing these. They acted themselves as bamans(baman shaman in buddhism: baman means scholar and saman means meditator) and brahman in sanskrit equivalent for baman. So slowly they became brahmans and captured and burnt near to 200 international universities around 1200-1300ad where everyone could study(there was no caste then). Then partnering with delhi sultanate and sena dynasty in north, they slowly brought caste system as now people had no means of studying other trades as education was attacked so they started practicing their trades by birth. Next they mixed and corrupted buddhist/jina texts ,buddhist jataka kathas, etc to compose vedas(part of the vedas was nothing but the avesta/illogical ideas these iranians brought with them while the part that made sense such as ayurveda was copied from buddhist texts) ,gita, puranas etc, and either took over or destroyed various philosophical and scientific works after 12-13th century which were written in sanskrit and sanskrit was developed only till 8th century(india till 12th century was a learning centre with nearly 200 international universities then which taught various philosophies, science, metallurgy, medicine, and many other disciplines). Al beruni was the first one to use the word "hindu" which is a derogatory word in persian(see the meaning of hindu and hindukush) to refer to the people here. [[A missing link is that if india was buddhist till 12th century, then what are the statues of shiva, vishnu, durga, kali come from? To understand this we need to know that the first sculptures made in India were of buddha during buddhist kushan rule in 1st century ad. Then consequently other statues and sculptures of buddha and bodhisattvas were made. The two arts that developed called mathura and gandhar arts were buddhist. Now the iranian outsiders acted as brahmins(bamans) and took over these places and corrupted them. For example, a buddhist temple during the buddhist gupta rule is now called mundeshwari temple, which is claimed as the oldest hindu temple{czcams.com/video/qDnIWX9JrnM/video.htmlsi=896sTrwexIG6lJTO}. A straightforward example is the worship of buddha as "teliya baba" in nalanda even today. Ayyapa( swamiye saranam ayyapa similar to buddham saranam gachami), tirupati balaji, khajuraho, konark, kedarnath badrinath etc were all temples of bodhisattvas/buddhas. For example, ayyapa temple is a temple dedicated to ayyapa/aryadeva who was an arahant/realised one, and whose disciple is the great master paramabuddha(padampa sangye) who travelled to tibet and china. Another example is the tirumala temple of bodhisattva venkateshwara(ven means sin and kata means cutter--i.e, venkata means cutter of sin/papam,i.e., moksha-giver).Infact temple/mandir is a integral part of our culture which got twisted, captured and corrupted from 12th century. {Madras High Court verdict opens up space for Buddhist history in Tamil Nadu www.thehindu.com/news/national/tamil-nadu/hc-verdict-on-thalaivetti-muniyappan-opens-up-space-for-buddhist-history-in-state/article65775967.ece/amp/} Shiva and vishnu are integral ideas of our culture which became twisted and corrupted from 12th century. Also rama and vasudeva(krshna) were buddhist bodhisattvas--we can see it for eg, from dasarath jatak katha., etc.]]. Al beruni was the first one to use the word "hindu" which is a derogatory word in persian(see the meaning of hindu and hindukush) to refer to the people here. During reign of muhammed bin tughlag, it was shariat law for muslims and manusmriti law for "hindus". The label of hindu(meaning thief/dirty person/neech) was given to the depressed classes at that time(sc,st,obcs of today). This anyone can read from ibn batutas original memoirs. This carried in mughal rule(in south india from the time of vijanagara empire) when many courtiers were brahmins. Here another point is that if babri masjid was built by breaking a ram temple, why did tulsidas who lived in ayodhya with only 30 yrs gap not mention this. A thing to note is that hindus and brahmins were different and this carried on till even when dayanand saraswati, founder of arya samaj, went for case to not call them brahmins as hindus. This situation changed when phule, periyar and others awakened the depressed classes(note obcs and sc,st make 80%of indian population atleast). The brahmins thought a lot about what to do because their ground was shaking. They came up with an idea called hindu-muslim riots so that attention of these depressed classes(known as hindus) were turned superficially to muslims. The first planned hindu muslim riots happened in 1893 and as per the plan, ganesh utsav was made public and riots were planned with violence from both sides. Important to note not a single such hindu muslim riots in medieval india and suddenly they are happening. Gandhi and nehru saw through this and worked to stop this like khilafat movement to unify etc. As the british announced elections which meant representations for depressed classes too(who were called hindus by brahmins then), brahmins formed rss and hindu mahasabha, and called themselves hindus too to act as representatives of hindus( just as they acted as representatives of buddhists by becoming bamans). Partition resulted due to brahman tactics of riots and also british supported this because by then cold war had started and pakistan was made an ally of america then. Now gandhi and nehru knew that caste system(which was mixed with religion then) cannot be attacked directly so they built institutions for public like iit, aims, bpcl, ongc, hpcl, bsnl, bhel, power grid, and many many more so that depressed classes too can study, become educated and do other jobs and break varna,i.e trade by birth(the first thing that bamans did to establish caste was burn universities and this was undone by the sharp understanding of nehru). Now rss is systematically selling psus to undo this again because if 80% of the depressed classes are supressed and their reservation is taken back by selling govt psus, theyll again become uneducated and jobless and under them).Note that when gandhi came to india in 1915, only 4% of india was educated. Then when india was so poor due to british misrule that there was big shortage of grains for everyone and people had no food, india asked food grains to america which mocked saying we can only give lowest quality fooder, indira gandhi successfully headed both green revolution and white revolution. Indira Gandhi successfully led the country through cold war funded jp and khalistani movements. See that both jp movement and anna movement were so similar and rss was behind them. The purpose was these movements was to supress the depressed classes(hindus) and maintain brahmanical order. Nehru escaped assassination attempts five times. Shastriji worked tirelessly to protect the country. Indira gandhi and rajiv gandhi gave away their lives to create equal society and unite india. Now rahul gandhi doing the same through his 4000km bharat jodo yatra.
See that both india and china contributed to 65%gdp of world till 12th century. India weakened after this due to caste system but both india and china contributed to 50%world gdp well into 18th century till british rule.

There is a reason why Indias architect Nehru gave the slogan :"India China bhai bhai" (which means india and china are brothers). The reason is evident from above post. What changed later and the indo china war, nehru shouldn't be blamed for it. There are others reasons why Mao declared war on india. It is not a straightforward topic because it was cold war politics and all of india, china, russia, america, europe were in a way involved. Whatever be the political situation now, india and china have shared civilization till the past 700 years. For example, even till 16th century, there were relations between Chinese Kingdoms and, kerala and tamilnadu.

This movie came in my feed today and I really loved it. This movie really shows the practical side of Buddhism which has made me respect Buddhism again. I say again because I was born a Buddhist but got disillusioned with it the way everyone is going after the merit with merit being their sole focus. I focus on the heart and so does the teaching of bodhi dharma. I could relate to many things in the movie, and I was really moved by the movie. This movie is made with a sincere heart.

The secondpart--- @nathanwatche As i said in some of the comments, buddhism was attacked in its origin place in 12th century and was on a decline, parallely crusades was happening in the west and the gunpowders, chemicals and technology used actually developed in India and china and were put to wrong use. Once Constantinople fell in 1452, the need for a trade route to india and china led to voyages which resulted in the colonization of americas( it is wrong that Columbus or vikings discovered America's first: buddhists from India and china reached Mexico in 6th century with their message {Reference:An Iglorious Columbus, or Evidence that Hwui Shan and A Party of Buddhist Monks Discovered America in 5th Century AD} and the capture of atahualpa(the gun technology used in the battle was also developed in indo china but it was never meant for large scale violence)and then lots of gold and resources were taken. Colonialism had begun. Had buddhism in india given some time, colonialism on such a large scale would have never happened. Many of the ideas on which Newton developed were introduced by trade route to Europe from kerala and tamilnadu parts of india{for eg.,the kerala school of astronomy and mathematics}. [[Before long, the southern parts of India fell to caste system and majority of people became illiterate. When the British started Indian invasions, a majority of Indian land was controlled by chitpavin brahmins(peshwas) and the society was fragmented along caste lines and so the British could capture India easily. When respected king shivaji and his son sambaji tried to break the brahmin domination, they were given strict punishment by the brahmins in aurangzebs court(& brahmin conspiracy within his kingdom too). From shivajis lineage shahuji, along with phule worked for oppressed classes in India which were more than 85% population. 50% of population were doing menial jobs and women were downgraded in brahminical system. Savitribai phule, phule's wife was the first educated woman in india from the last 800 years ]]. And then industrial revolution that happened in the west was on the line of colonialism--- had it happened along buddhism, we would've seen a completely different world today with no world wars, no cold war, no large scale violence. Technology would've been used in right way and world would have lived as one, in harmony🌍❤
PS::The Mahatma Gandhi magic from 1920-1950 made sure that we moved towards the constitution over manusmriti. Tall leaders like Babasaheb Ambedkar and Nehru wrote and strengthened the constitution. Initially there was no provision of reservation in the constitution and Nehru fought hard to bring the 1st amendment(1951). Premier public sector industries, dams and big educational institutions (which then facilitated reservation) was created under visionary leadership of nehru. Today is a transition from that period of 800 years(from 12th century when ~200 international universities were destroyed/burnt) in which the rule was that ~90% people were punished with lead melted and poured into their ears if they attempted to read vedas, to nehrus primeministership when again institutions like iits and aims were created and opened the doors for all. And till before independence, only 5% people were literate but today 75% are. To reach till here, tall leaders like mahatma gandhi, jawaharlal nehru, shastriji, indira gandhi, rajiv gandhi had to risk and place their lives.

@dr.nirmalraj3839 It is not about india or china or west. These are just names. It may have been the other way round that west was buddhist, or that the industrial revolution happened in the east and so on. Or it may have been that we lived on a planet by another name. Your point that India and China have no role in industrial revolution is not completely right because history is always continuous and evolving. For eg., the numerical system we use today(0,1,2,..) is from india while europe followed roman numerical system which was very difficult to represent large numbers, and without adopting a different number system, running factories and maintaining accounts would've been difficult. Also note that the gun technology used in battle with atahualpa was borrowed from indo china, and if this was not the case, colonization of americas may not have happened. And so on,etc. Similarly if the west had not given us modern technology, you wouldnt be reading my comment. So the only contention here is that technology should be used for peace and not for wars and terrorism.

The true history of india is hidden from us. You can trust this comment: Whole india was buddhist till 12th century.
P.S. There is no need to get offended when I say "india was buddhist till 12th century". Just as I've stated about the context of the origin of the word "hindu" in the medieval period, the word "buddhism" was also constructed/coined,

Master Chuen-Bo (Known as Brandy Yuen) embarked on an extraordinary spiritual journey that began with his dedication to producing the evocative film "Master of Zen." In this ambitious project, he simultaneously took on the roles of screenwriter, director, and producer. This marked the start of his transformation towards embracing the monastic life.
During his research for the film, Master Chuen-Bo immersed himself in the study of Buddhist scriptures, seeking wisdom within the hallowed walls of prestigious temples, and attentively absorbing the teachings of his revered master. As he delved deeper into the profound study of Buddhism, his longing for the Dharma grew increasingly urgent. Ultimately, he discovered the elusive Truth regarding life's existential questions and, in a decisive moment, chose to leave behind his flourishing film career and colourful life to walk the path of a monk.
Later on, responding to the heartfelt invitations from his devoted disciples, he journeyed back to Hong Kong from Taiwan to compassionately spread the enlightening teachings of Buddhism. In October 2000, Master Chuen-Bo established the Buddhist Navigation Vihara in Hong Kong, wholeheartedly dedicating his life to spreading the Dharma for the betterment of all sentient beings.
Guided by the noble mission, "Seek the Buddha's path above, enlighten sentient beings below," our temple aspires to illuminate the way for countless souls. May the Navigation of our Dharma vessel steer us all towards the blissful realm of nirvana, guiding us on this transformative journey together.

@manh9105 you're taking about one of the 28 recorded great buddhas between ~1500-500bc. There were other buddhas too. And bihari, nepali, etc are just names we've created in our mind. No need to be too obsessed with names. But on your insistence, Kondanna buddha, one of the 28 buddhas, was from telangana-andhra region. Similarly sarankara buddha was from kerala-tamilnadu, mangala buddha was from karnataka-kerala, and so on. Infact, tanhankara buddha, the 1st of the 28 mentioned buddhas, was from tamil nadu. The 28 great buddhas were not confined only to bihar, but to the length and breadth of india. Vaigai valley civilization of south india was as advanced as the parallel indus valley civilization and both had the same culture and similar script. The evidence of link between vaigai/indus script and tamili/pali script has been obtained in graffiti in Tamil Nadu. Tamilnadu was buddhist till 14-15th century atleast.

@anandmeleppat5042 you can trust this comment: Whole india was buddhist till 12th century.

The true history of india is less familiar to us. Whole india was a rich hindu tradition. The indus valley civilization had early hinduism with no barriers of caste or creed or status. From buddha's time, many rishis and sadhus came to learn from the buddha, being attracted by his aura. Although both jainism and buddhism being breakaways from the vedic religion initially, hinduism assimilated these ideas and the caste system in the society became less rigid. Takshashila university which was famous for its education was a pre-buddhist university which taught vedic knowledge, and as caste system was becoming rigid, the ideas of the buddha had an impact and education became accessible to everyone as the caste structure loosened. In addition, buddhist philosophy was also taught additionally at takshashila now. Similarly nalanda university which was also an important educational centre prevalent during the nanda empire began teaching vedas, upanishads and philosophies of buddha & mahavira together. Buddha himself was called as maharshi in our ancient texts. Due to the aura of the buddha, we also had several of our rishis who spread buddhism like asvagosha, tilopa, marpa ,naropa, vasubandhu, asanga, atisha, etc from north and bodhisena(who travelled to japan),bodhidharma (who travelled to china), dhammapala, nagarjuna, vajrabodhi, buddhadhata, etc from south; and outside india lao tzu, chang tzu, dogen, rinzai, kyozan, etc. Infact, chandragupta maurya, grandfather of asoka, renounced his kingdom and became a disciple of the great jina/buddhist master badrabahu, who was from karnataka-kerala, and meditated in a cave in sravanabelagola. [Note that 'moksha' is one of the higher concepts of life in hinduism and is stated multiple times in upanishads and vedas and see that: jina/jaina(meaning victor/ conqueror over papam/sin to attain moksha) and buddha(meaning realised one/ moksha attainer) are synonyms and mean the same thing ]. In south part of india, we had major international universities like kanthaloor, kanchipuram, nagavi which taught several subjects like vedas, upanishads, buddhist philosophy and other schools of philosophy. In this way, buddhism and hinduism both influenced each other and buddha became a revered figure in hinduism. This cultural richness became prevalent in all our indian kingdoms/empires like cheras, cholas, pandyans, kalabhras, gupta, rastrakuta, pallavas, chalukyas, gurjara prathiharas, palas. For example, bodhidharma, patriarch of zen buddhism, was a prince of the great pallava kingdom. Similarly, the great guru paramabuddha, who was from the chola kingdom in the then kerala, travelled to tibet, and was known as 'dampa sangye' in tibet and china. So in this way, hinduism absorbed the ideas of buddhism and jainism just as a rich stream filling the river. This was at a time when our rishis and teachers developed devanagari script from pali/prakrit/'brahmi script' in monasteries and gurukulas. So devanagari script in which we write languages like hindi and marathi today, took form only in 7th century. However, due to the turbulent times and changing trends in society, the caste system and social structure which was less rigid till now became more and more rigid. Slowly, the economically upper layers of the society began denying education to the common villagers and townsfolk. We'd more than 200 international universities which were open to all till then till 12th century. Our country till 12th century was a learning centre with nearly 200 international universities which taught various philosophies, science, metallurgy, medicine, and many other disciplines. Caste was not based on birth and everyone was free to do what they liked to do till 11-12th century. Certainly people from all classes of society in our country were free to learn what they wanted and not only that, people from other countries as far as japan, too used to come and study in these universities. Pali/prakrit was the language of the northern india at that time and the language was written in a script called 'brahmi' or 'pali-prakrit'. All the inscriptions of kings we get well into 11th century are in 'brahmi script'. However as the caste system became very rigid and people were kept away from education, this brahmi script became completely forgotten by the middle and lower classes. The astounding thing is that the upper classes of society had also forgotten this brahmi script as they'd now adopted the devanagari script which they'd restricted to themselves, in which they used to write sanskrit now(both sanskrit and pali languages were written in brahmi script and not in devanagari script till 12th century; note again devanagari script in which we write languages like hindi and marathi today, took form only in 7th century and the brahmi script was used before this). So sanskrit thus became a writing language restricted only to the very few upper classes. An incident in history was when feroz shah tughlag wanted to renovate and reinstall a beautiful pillar with an inscription engraved in it in 1356, and none among even the learned men summoned by him throughout the country could read or understand this script which was in brahmi. So the upper classes of society started owning education and caste system became more and more rigid by the turn of the 12th century. As a result, the nearly 200 world-class international universities like kanthaloor, kanchipuram, nagavi, vikramshila, nalanda started declining, and education was getting restricted. The decline of universities including nalanda was not a result of fights and invasions but this newly formed societal condition and rigidity. People had no means of studying other trades as education was attacked so they started practicing their trades by birth more rigidly. This carried more rigidly from the 11-12th centuries and mughal rule(in south india from the time of vijanagara empire) when many courtiers and administrators were brahmins or upper sections of society. Emperor akbar patronised all religions and cultures and took special attention to help the poor. He tried to socially uplift the lower sections of society but many of his administrators who were from the upper classes opposed this strongly. Also note that the fight between emperor aurangzeb and the great king shivaji had another angle. Shivaji was a great social refomer and cared for all his subjects; so he took steps like uplifting the lower sections of society which suffered due to caste. For example, the cook of his royal kingdom, who was also his childhood friend, was from a lower caste. The brahmins and upper classes both in the kingdoms of shivaji as well as that of aurangzeb were enraged by this. This is also a reason that when shivaji or his family was captured, the ministers and administrators wanted strict punishment and aurangzeb had to concede. Note that nearly 70% of aurangzeb's advisors were brahmins or upper classes of society. By the time the british stated invasions in the country, the mughal empire was already on the decline and the new seat of power in the northern india were the peshwas from maharastra, who were dead against any reforms in the caste system. Life was becoming very difficult for the people from lower/depressed classes, who actually were nearly 80% of the population. This extremely grim landscape started to change when movements by phule and others in 1860s, which included dramas and plays, started highlighting the oppressions in society due to the caste system. Such movements awakened the depressed classes(note obcs and sc,st make 80% of indian population atleast), and people began wishing and asserting for a more free society. The upper classes and brahmins at that time thought a lot about what to do because their firm hold on society and economy was shaking. They took deliberations after deliberations. A part of the intellengsia of the upper classes came up with an idea called hindu-muslim riots so that attention of these depressed classes were turned superficially to muslims. The first planned hindu muslim riots happened in 1893 and as per the plan, ganesh utsav was made public and riots were planned with violence from both sides. Important to note not a single such hindu muslim riots in medieval india and suddenly they are happening(recall that the courtiers of mughals were brahmins only). Gandhi and nehru saw through this and worked to stop this like khilafat movement to unify etc. As the british announced elections which meant representations for depressed classes too, many of the more forward-looking people from upper sections of society welcomed it. However some upper sections and brahmins didn't like this a bit and they formed rss and hindu mahasabha, and tried to appropriate themselves as people who were for rights of hindus in the guise of people who wanted to have caste system. Partition resulted due to rss/brahamnvadi tactics of riots and also british supported this because by then cold war had started and pakistan was made an ally of america then. Now gandhi and nehru knew that caste system(which was mixed with religion then) cannot be attacked directly so they built institutions for public like iit, aims, bpcl, ongc, hpcl, bsnl, bhel, power grid, and many many more so that depressed classes too can study, become educated and do other jobs and break varna,i.e trade by birth(the first thing that was done to establish caste in very rigid form was shut down universities and this was undone by the sharp understanding of nehru). Now rss is systematically selling psus to undo this again because if 80% of the depressed classes are supressed and their reservation is taken back by selling govt psus, theyll again become uneducated and jobless and under them).Note that when gandhi came to india in 1915, only 4% of india was educated. To repeat it again, only 4% people had basic reading-writing skills then. Then when india was so poor that there was a big shortage of grains

@@Vicky91-lq6y__KhargeForPM I'm saying that hinduism is not a religion it is a descendent of sanatan dharm Buddhism also followed it. You can find the same philosophy like Buddhism in hinduism in their puranas and vedas. There is no person or group called Aryans. According to foreigners Aryans looks white the how come rama and Krishna were dark in colour then why did Shiva appear to non Aryans in their meditation if Shiva we're Aryans god. First of all Buddhism is an atheist philosophy but hinduism is a theist philosophy so there is no chance that hinduism came from Buddhism, our gurus and rishis stopped Buddhism spreading to India as it teaches atheism so hinduism is older than Buddhism. So which religion is yours Buddha before he born?

This is one of the best movies i've seen on The Bodhidharma. I would love to see more movies on his life to get different perspectives. It's not a martial arts movie, or a Buddhist/Zen Buddhist movie or an Indian movie or historical movie or a religious movie or a philosophical or a cultural movie or a mindfulness meditation movie but some how all of them at the same time. I've watched it multiple times and will watch it multiple more. India has given the world soooo much in religion, math, science & philosophy as it's the 2nd oldest culture. The first being Mama Africa of coarse. To the extent that India used to be called East Ethiopia. If you "follow the money" to "get to the bottom" of something illegal, then you "follow the wisdom" to get to the heart of creation. And we are all from "The One". There is a lot of people in this group keep on saying proud to be Indian. That give no merits (nothing to them). Without knowing about Buddha, Valluvar or even Bodhidharma real ability, your dharma knowledge(wisdom) wont blossom. There is no restriction in this world to be Buddha's follower. (Buddhism is not a religion. It is created some Brahmins to seperate Buddha's teaching to Hinduism) To be Buddha folower, only need to practise dharma with true heart. As tamil person, I respect high on chinese people beccause they absorb jewel(dharma) very fast, eventhough Buddha, Valluvar and Bodhidharma originated from India/ancient India (Nepal). I felt shame with many Indians here, keep on saying proud of Indian and know nothing about dharma and keep on believing Buddha is reincarnation Krishna. Buddha's dharma teaching cant be surpassed by anyone (sorry to be arrogant ). As Milarepa said from lowest state u can attain highest state. Thats what Buddha did. Born as Prince, live as ascetic and became Buddha and beg for food in the street eventough heavenly gods willing to serve him. If Bodhidharma have great ability, think about who is Buddha really is. I felt regret not able to learn Buddha's teaching since I was kid. I hope one day, I can penetrate dharma to be better person. For all my Chinese Buddhist, again my huge respect to u. May the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha bless u. Namo Buddhaya!!!🙏

This was a good movie though and teaches us. To be as bad as we can be. Then repent and become Buddha. Then because there is no comfort in Buddha cut your arm off.. Wait that's Krishna dogma.
