- Martin O’Neill also won the Scottish Cup at the first time of asking and that, of course, meant that Celtic had lifted their first treble since 1969 and the Irishman had become only the second Celtic manager to do so after the great Jock Stein.
It looked like Lubo Moravcik had won his fitness fight for the final against Hibernian, but he had to retire after 14 minutes and it was his replacement, Jackie McNamara, who scored the opener shortly before the break. Who else but Henrik Larsson netted the other two goals in the 3-0 win for the Celts! Celtic wore their change yellow tops during the game but changed into the Hoops for the cup presentation.

This team was the equivalent of the Lisbon Lions for those who weren't around in those times.
Remember that day so vividly well, the parties in West Belfast that night were trully special.
Sutty wore long sleeves rain or shine apart from his first few games. Loved those umbro strips/kits between 00-04. Home 99-00, this away one and black magic are among the best there's ever been.
