- Decided to do this one off because the song is soo darn good.
I found out about it through Undertale, but Cucumber Quest is a damn good webcomic and y'all should check it out if you haven't already. Not at the bit with this guy yet but still, this theme is rockin.

What's incredible is that this has the Metal Crusher leitmotif, the Gaster leitmotif, and on top of that, the baseline during the "verse" segments is the Ghost Fight/Dummy! Baseline. Toby Fox looked in a mirror and thought it sounded good.

I gotta say, I'm a little upset with his design, and I only have myself to blame for it. The only reason I'm upset is because I thought that wasn't' an eye. I thought it was a speaker that they used the angle he was drawn at to emulate an eye turning. Which was a cool concept to me.

If somebody made a Deltarune encounter out of this guy, he'd probably be like the Sweet Cap'n Cakes battle, sound-based attacks and all, but Jevil/Spamton NEO-level difficulty.
Gotta say, I like this more than Metal Crusher. The sound font is more appealing, and the chiller feel makes "that riff" sound more impactful.
I know this is supposed to be Mettaton's theme (and I can hear it quite well). But I'm getting more of a Sonic 3 & Knuckles type of vibe. Like when Knuckles would show up to antagonize Sonic and Tails.

Metal Crusher is a version of this.
Final BossGamer No, this is closer to Metal Crusher. Death by Glamour still uses this melody, sure, but it’s almost half the song in the former while the latter is sort of a combination of various Mettaton-related themes.
