I'm new to fishing and the more I fish and explore waters and learn fish behaviors, there's this indescribable feeling I get when it's just me and the water. There is no level of technology that can make me appreciate fishing the way I do right now. 🎣

Thats the best approach! From my experience with FFS it can be very fun watching fish react in realtime, how ever. I've ruined the day throwing all. my eggs in the FFS basket and not just soaking up the day, the weather, being with friends and ultimately just having fun chasing fish the old fashioned way. I'm pretty neutral on the whole on the whole argument but i would much rather go flip cypress trees with a frog and jig all day than chase fish deep

I’d just like to say I really enjoyed ur show today. It was extremely interesting and very informative, and you are right in my opinion, fishing is about disconnecting from life for a little bit and getting back to why we fish. To relax, chill or what ever u wanna say, and catching that double digit just puts the icing on the cake, but even more than that, developing your own skills in fishing and knowing what to look for and where to find the fish, makes it even more rewarding because you did it on your own skill and will.

All the pro-technology guys better not cry when all their favorite spots dry up because the fish are too pressured when guys like Zaldain rock up daily.
One thing this reminds me of is when I started out fishing. I used to go to shallow creeks where I could watch the sunfish come after my lure. I learned a lot quickly by bejng able to see them. So that's one application - learning more about how deep fish react to different lures and techniques. Not to mention avoiding bottom obstacles and leaving fewer lures and line on the bottom. That said, I agree that fishing is about being outside in nature first, and I feel like this tech spoils it to an extent.

When I first saw livescope years ago I said that it would just be a matter of time before we had sunglasses with projections of the scope or even worse, 360 view that effectively makes it like we're just seeing directly through the water.

When I go fishing with my buddie and try to use his love scope it stresses me out seeing the fish look at my bait and not hit it, but then I have to take a deep breath and go back to the back of the boat and just enjoy the moment of catching the fish and remembering why I fish.

Technologies like dragging a net behind your boat are also extremely effective. You can also use dynamite like Crocodile Dundee. But as you pointed out at the end of the video, it goes opposite to the reason fishing is truly amazing and it should be left as a natural mystery to solve and enjoy.
