Chau is nice. Her personality is more reserved and quiet than other females that have been on this channel. Let’s not forget that it’s ok not to be like everyone else.
She's real. That's what I like about her. She's not acting for the camera or presenting a CZcams video. This is what people forget when they watch CZcamsrs who have to talk directly to an audience (like me) in order to carry the narrative further. Presentation vs representation.
I mean she def doesn’t act like what her appearances gives off lol. She could obviously just be jetlagged and tired as well lol

Thank You so much for posting these videos & telling these stories with your family. It has touched me in ways I cannot explain, even to myself. Between January 1967 & August 1970 I was stationed in several different places in Vietnam. From Cau Viet to Pleku to PhuBai to DaNang to Cam Ranh Bay to Saigon. I always thought the country was incredibly beautiful. And once the local people got to know some of us, friendships grew, & the experiences had more meaning.

You will come away with the most respect for these wonderful people. Be sure to visit Saigon. Yes, Saigon. 95% of Vietnamese still call HCMC by its original name... Saigon.

she's not a CZcamsr. She's not a presenter. We don't rehearse questions. I have been all about the "organic" "raw" aspects of video production and when I point the camera at Chau and ask her questions, it's all in the spur of the moment. It's all a language (she speaks at least 4 and English rarely compared to German) , culture, her quirkiness that doesn't always carry across on camera, and just the fact that I catch her off guard (on purpose most of the time) Sometimes people don't hear the response that they're used to from CZcamsr presenters who are just presenting something captivating. So they get upset and call her boring and expect her to have never ever been on vlogs prior to meeting me, in fact Chau never saw a single one of my videos when we met. Chau is real. She's not an influencer. This is why I like her and why you'll see her in many more videos to come on this channel.
