She left in 1972 and her dad died 1975. She said she stayed with her aunt for 3 years and she wanted to go back but was scared of her dad. If she only knew he passed and she can go home 😭 maybe her evil aunt and her daughter knew and that's why they forced her to go with the daughter. 🥲

However you have so much extended family because of the past indiscretions. The bonds will always be greater when you grow and suffer together. Which is why your Mom struggles to attach herself to the other side of the family. Look how strong your family became through their adversity.

The woman's son is a very emotionally intelligent dude. He knew exactly what was needed and made it happen. These videos do good because the background of all this is the war, never once mentioned, but that's what ripped Vietnam (and to some extent the US) apart at that time and dispersed people and families. Incredible life story. I couldn’t stop crying.. especially this episode. You are all so beautiful. From adoptive parents, bio parents, new wife. Such a beautifully sad and amazingly happy family.
