- In this video, my roommate will be reacting to her first time watch of "Hatchet II" from 2010. This was a Patron Subscriber pick from Chaos, and this was just intense as the first one!
ABOUT
After barely escaping from the clutches of deformed maniac Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder), Marybeth (Danielle Harris) sets out to exact her revenge on the seemingly indestructible monster that has already murdered her family and a boat full of New Orleans tourists.
Enlisting the help of Louisiana charlatan Reverend Zombie (Tony Todd), Marybeth gathers up a team of hired guns to return to the swamp, only to discover that even with an army of hunters at her side, the murderous fury of Crowley cannot be contained. Ultimately, it will be up to Marybeth alone to defeat the monster, but not before learning the truth about a twisted secret he shares with her own family…

The recasting was actually necessary in this case. Because the original actress unfortunately developed cancer an was unable to rephrase her role. So that is the sad story behind the recasting if she was able to come back they would of had her.
Now in all of the Hatchet movies there is only one non real item that is the gas powered belt sander. That was made just for the movies. That long chainsaw is used for cutting down big trees. Because if it's really big the only options are use a long two person manual saw. Because the one's cutting it down are out of the way wich is safer. That or use a standard axe or chainsaw wich is not really practical or safe. Considering that the blades don't cut all the way to the other side of really big trees. So simple solution take a chainsaw an put a bigger blade on it. That way one person can cut down a really big tree all by themselves. Because the only other option is the two person hand saw.
I just noticed Emma Bell on the tv @ 6:16. that's her character from Frozen which Adam Green also directed.
I think they made chains saws that long for really wide trees or something, but I could be wrong

Those chainsaws are for longing and cutting down really big trees. Because before that they had to use a two person hand saw to cut them down. So basically they took a chainsaw an put a blade on it the lanth of the two person hand saw blade. So instead of two people moving the blade back an forth. You have a chainsaw motor moving a blade that long an its easier an you only need one person to use it.
The OG Mary-Beth actress had payment issues and wanted more so they re-cast her with Danielle. The comedy dude was one of the best parts lmfao. "VOODOOOO" LOL. Guy was great. This is my favorite Hatchet movie. I really like Hatchet III too. Danielle Harris is such a fucking BADASS. The perfect re-cast imo. Tony Todd's fucking amazing too.

She said,hi Harmony!?,she watched Buffy and Angel that´s for sure haha.The first movie was super fun but i didn't like the 2 friends diying at all,they were funny specially the b guy,sorry i don't remember their names just Marybeth haha.First time i saw it i tough the guy was going to survive,in another movie i don't remember wich one they made a b joke,split!!? that's a terrible ide,you know that a brother always die first,and he didn´t but i felt bad seeing him die he was funny.
Something wrong with the movie,he did died since he has no head now,how come there´s a third movie? i saw them all but...she always say,that´s not how it works in every kill,how does she know? did she ever get one of those kills in the real life? XD-.So,i don´t get it.the girl wasn´t merybeth so where did she come from?.
