Great video. I'm originally from South Wales but living in London for past 16 years. Am looking to move back to Wales and live off the land so this video is very useful. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing the detail about viability (revenue, effort etc). It would be nice to hear an update if you have kept it going and how your CSA works and member involvement. - buildling a cooperative so interested in the 'how'

Very inspiring! I appreciate your honesty and openness around the struggles and the numbers. I hope next year the veg comes a bit easier!

Wow, mae'n wych Matt! I too have been inspired by Richard Perkins, and am starting to lay down muck and woodchip on a space I've been fortunate enough to have been given the use of. I am incredibly inspired by your hard work, and I too share your passion for growing fresh veg for my community in a way that regenerates soil. Da iawn chi! :-D

I REALLY like your honesty - it is refreshing! And the plot looks great. Thanks for this! I'm about to start trying on my own plot.

I love your honesty! You have done what I would do if my partner let me sell our house and buy a plot of land! I think it takes time to gain the vast experience you need for this, but it's amazing to see how much hard work you've put in! Well done

Nice video! Looks like you've set up a cracking garden there. I realised while I was watching that me and my partner stayed at your farm a few years ago :) numbers there sound about right from previous market gardeners I've talked to... I guess in future years you'll have to pay a fraction of the 9k costs but yeah it's a lot of work for not much (monetary) return. Having said that very rewarding work that's good for you! We lived in Ireland last year and there was a 2 acre market garden called knockvicar organic garden that iirc might have had as many as 8 paid members of staff

I made a similar garden this year same principles but about 3rd of the size. I think the setup is hardwork but the payback is in the later years and I can't wait to get going again next year. Re weeds I think there's no such thing as weed free but there is very lean weed management. Great to see your story, thanks.
