    Exactly what I was looking for with my kind of grinder. Almost every other video skips what, for the beginner, is the complexity of removing the nuts and the direction you must turn them. I was thinking of using a wedge but thought "Nah! That can't be right" and I wasn't far off. Concise too. No wordy intro blather.

    Great vid. If I'm putting a sisal buffing wheel on, do I need a spindle every time? I'll be using it to polish wood.

    Thanks for the info. That helped me a lot. I just got one at a yard sale. The only issue now is the wire wheel I got for it is too narrow so it's not tight. How can I correct that? Just add extra washers or did i buy the wrong one?

    What you didn't show is how to tighten them again! When you tighten the rh thread, the lh thread comes undone....

    Is the left hand nut a left hand thread? It would make sense for them to be different. I'm going to have to recheck my grinder as the nuts seem to be either both right hand or both left hand. I came to CZcams looking for a spindle lock but found this video
