Dear Viewers,
Greetings from “Surgical Educator”
In this video I have talked on one more cause for Lower GI Hemorrhage- Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
IBD consists of two diseases- Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis. I have talked on etiology, pathology, clinical features, investigations, complications, medical and surgical treatment of both diseases. I have also included a diagnostic algorithm and a treatment algorithm. You can watch the video in the following links:

Haroon Khan you are welcome.
The Mx is almost same in both conditions unless in the details of proctosigmiodectomy , am I understand well?
Other question: Crohn’s disease is associated with Oxalate renal stones, isn’t it?
Mx treatment almost same
Crohn’s is associated with Gall Stones because terminal ileum is affected enterohepatic circulation of bile will be affected.
Surgical Educator thanks proff, oxalate is absorbed in colon, the absorption is limited by binding of calcium to oxalate, in crohn's because of malabsorption , fat will bind to calcium and oxalate freely absorbed leads to oxalate stones
Thank you
