- Yamaha Motor launched the new YZF-R15 sports model motorcycle, which inherits the DNA of the flagship supersport YZF-R1, in Indonesia and subsequently also go on sale in other ASEAN markets.
As the successor model to the current YZF-R15, which has been popular for its highly-focused feel and racy image which enhance the supersport elements of the design, the new YZF-R15 has been developed with the aim of further increasing sports performance. The motorcycle’s main features include 1) a liquid-cooled 155cm3 VVA engine with a 3% increase in capacity but which achieves an 18.3% increase in output and a 4.7% improvement in practical fuel efficiency over the current model, 2) the exterior inheriting features of the YZF-R1 DNA and the thin LED double headlight design, 3) the inverted front forks contributing to excellent shock absorbing performance and a solid front sense of rigidity and contact with the ground.

🤨 But some issues in this bike...my request to yamaha team pls. Improve the problem given below
1. Pls. Upgrade the material (plastic/metal) use in this bike are so cheap & weak not feel like premium for the price segment...please upgrade it on yamaha v4 version.
2. The led headlight looking so pretty...but night visibility very less power and dissatisfied...So please upgrade the features for the reputation of Yamaha.
3. The cost of this bike around 2 lakhs rs...but no led indicators it's totally hopeless 😣 please add led indicators on version 4 model.
4. The mudguard is so small on back tyre... not satisfiedly riding on rainy season...So the mudguard should be bigger on Next updates.
5. Only the dark Knight version has premium chrome graphics/sticker but the blue & grey was worst graphics not up to the mark Yamaha standard. Please add the premium chrome sticker on others models (blue & grey) also on next updates.
6. In bs6 version power less... prize increased...this is not fair 👎

Request to yamaha company please upgrade your models & fix upper mentioned issues & problem... because Yamaha is a reputed brand... don't compromise the features for the prize...if the prize will increased then please add upgradation features of your bikes model.... Yamaha please give your customers the appropriate riding satisfaction & service for the amount paying for this bike.

I Feel FZ-25 is A Better Deal, I Mean 100 CC More + Super Comfortable Ride Position
saccyind fz 25 is a street bike whereas this is a track focused bike and that 100cc isn't gonna make any difference since this bike is faster than the fz25 and has a much stronger top end!

saccyind if i have to explain you in simple terms, its because the engine on the r15 is a marvel, full forged internals, liquid cooling, 4 valves, vvt, taller gear ratios, and near to same bhp figures. Whereas the engine on the fz is very old, its lifted from the older Brazilian fazer 250 model. Hence the 100cc extra is redundant :)
Dude FZ 25 Engine Is Based On Japanese Bike X-2 Or Tricker 250 Which Is Quite Successful In Japan BUT They Modified Engine For Indian Market And Increased Torque. Yes I Agree V 3.0 Engine Has More Features But I Own FZ-25 And i Can Say Its Engine Is Pretty Solid Too.
@@saccyind yes its engine is solid but its not made for what r15's engine is made for.....R15 engine is much powerful thn fz-25....fz-25 is a good naked street bike....But r15 is something diff.... Yamaha R6 smokes some of the 900 cc bikes.... CC never matters what matters is the capability of engine how it makes power and how much power it makes .... Forget the time when people used to look at CC...tht time is gone
