I got my lite today and I'm honestly liking it more than I thought. The material they used for the case and the contrast of the white buttons makes it so appealing. I find myself using my switch in handheld more than anything even when sitting on my couch so the lite was perfect for me. The connected joycons and the lighter weight of the lite makes it such better handheld experience. Plus the smaller screen with the same resolution and more yellowed screen makes it sooo nice to replay botw or all the great indies

I actually really like how the standard Switch console is only black; it’s a very neutral colour that can go well with anything, thus it looks good with any Joy-Con colour. It feels like they really thought about people having multiple Joy-Con they’ll switch out with each other, and thus having they Joy-Con being the customizable part with all the different colours. With the Switch Lite being a singular unit, having it come in different colours makes more sense than it does for the standard Switch. Though, I do wish there were more dock varients.

Picked up the turquoise Switch Lite with Link’s Awakening today. I’m a big fan of how cloud saves are working so far! Haven’t had any issues playing between my normal Switch and the Lite :) love it!
The prettiest for me is the yellow.

I have the original one but if I had to buy the lite I would go for the grey one.
It's not as appealing when it's not turned on, but it's the one who better looks turned on. It's a neutral colour so you will enjoy more the images. Looking at the green or the yellow while you're playing for hours, might get you sick...My original switch is the grey one for the same reason most tvs or notebooks are black or grey: so you have a better experience looking at the screen without getting your eyes tired... But as an.object the yellow is the prettiest and then green.

It's mustard? Looks like banana yellow to me. Mustard would be awesome though. Other cool possible colors: berry, Mario red, indigo, clear purple, frost clear, kiwi green, Samus metallic orange, and a special edition Game Boy classic themed one.

I love the turquoise color, but I do like the light grey special addition because of the different blue and pink buttons. I’m probably still going to buy the turquoise though. However if they made a switch lite in a cherry blossom pink I’d have a much harder decision to make cause DAYUM that would be pretty🌸

Out of all of them the turquoise just look so good! Tho months of use will prove how it holds up. If they had a Link’s awakening theme lite, I would buy it instantly. Let’s all hope they do something for the lites with the BOTW game.
I love the gray and turquoise one. Those are my favourites out of the 3. The turquoise one reminds of the DS Lite. The grey one reminds of a PSP and it looks really clean.

Agreed about the yellow. Maybe they should have used black buttons for the contrast. Would've looked cool like the Dandelion yellow GBC I used to have. That's why I settled for the turquoise Lite. Also, Nintendo almost never puts out a red console on the first run. I think it's because they expect it to catch the attention of late adopters when they do release it.

Would’ve been great if Nintendo called it the “Switch Color” instead, and put it out in all the same colors as the GameBoy Color. Now that would tickle at a lot of people’s nostalgia.

I remember when I bought the Gameboy Color Lime Green it was my first Gameboy. I had a red/silver Gameboy Advance, Gameboy DS, and a blue Gameboy DSI. I wanted a color that was different, and looked kind of 90's so I picked the yellow Switch Lite. It would be nice if they did neon, and transparent colors again. The special editions they did based on old videogame consoles are nice to. The coral is a nice color, but would look off on some games I'm playing.

Also idk if I'm alone on this but weirdly enough I love the rounded edges of the lite. The 3ds was kinda hard to play because it was just built completely out of sharp edges and misaligned case plates.

I got the turquoise for Christmas. Love it!
I have the blue/turquoise one and I honestly felt like the pictures are very different to the actual console itself, with lighting it looks turquoise without lighting it looks almost green, a similar colour to BMO from adventure time, I’m swapping it for the yellow as it seems like a nicer more banana colour, would recommend the coral switch however as it’s a super nice and eye pleasing colour.
I usually pick grey/black in literally everything but the grey switch looks dull, I would rather pick the other two colors.
I'm holding off on a Switch just for Metroid alone. My girl Samus gets no love from Nintendo these days.

I got mine today and I’m super happy! I don’t own an original switch, I’ve just used my cousins from time to time and it’s fun multiplayer, but using the original switch is just to big for my hands. I am so happy I went with the lite. It’s perfect for my hand size and the screen is pretty good idk why other reviews have kinda complained about it .

exciting times to be a Nintendo Switch owner...I got the turquoise Switch lite and I love it so much...this is to the original Switch like the Game Boy color version was to the original Game Boy, but better because you can keep using both simultaneously one dock and one on the go all the time.
The dark grey with red buttons would look dope, and same for the yellow one.

My biggest concern plus you already can't play on the TV so I might skip and save for the regular one.
Tbh, the reason I didn't buy one. Nintendo never publicly addressed those concerns, so I won't buy one until they do. I've had significant problems with joycon drift in the past. Sometimes it takes ~6 months for problems for drifting to become apparent, so it might take some time before reports about drifting surface.

The tech in the PS Vita is from 2012 its 2019 know. I would not say ahead of it's time because many PS3 and Xbox 360 games could not come to the PS Vita because it was not powerful enough. PS Vita was only 1/3 the power of the PS3 so in reality it was closer to the Wii and OG Xbox than the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Switch is getting big Triple A games and is a 7.5 generation console power wise.
I Hope Sony released a PS Vita 2. We are done with these Pokémon and Mario fullshit games
I think the vita could've have done way better if it they didn't used overpriced proprietary memory cards they could've done better, even if just a little bit.
@@yupdatsmeboiii Marketing, not enough exclusive games and expensive PS Vita equivalent 3rd party games were also the issue. Why buy the watered down PS Vita version that had cut content when you already have a PS3.
