when you listen to this concert, and you realize how much the kooks lost when Max Rafferty left....and then this song was dedicated to Max...

@freddypoo4 They are about to release a new album that called Junk of the heart, so yes, they have been working on it after his last album (Konk) have come out in 2008. The album will be released in 12 September 2011 :)
cant way for them to come back wish some new stuff this will do for the time being :D

The original version of Always Where I Need To Be is pretty much re-worked lyrics of this song (see the Glastonbury performance). They obviously changed it now that Sway and Always are on the album. Both great songs though.
sounds like just amp's overdrive and a delay in some parts like at 1:44, but who knows if he has some racks on the back...I'm just getting to know the band. The guitar is a Gibson Deluxe Les Paul with Mini-Humbucker pickups.

Maton EBG808L, good luck, it costs over a thousand dollars, but it's worth it. BTW, he basically always uses Matons, you have probably seen his Mini Maton, it's a miniature version of the guitar in this video, Oh how I wish I had one :/
