I swear some people are so negative and depressed...lol. Myrtle Beach is a beautiful place to visit with lots of fun things to do!!! Keep it on your bucket list and judge it for yourself...It's one of the top rated beaches!!!
Love going there. It's about a six and a half hour from where we live. Coming back for the Elvis Festival. Can't wait.

I lived in Anaheim for many years and I was only 20 minutes away from the beach,and I hardly ever went but when I did go it was nice to be able to ride along the beach on a bike, its nice there but not the same as in California
I’m actually planning to go there next summer. And I’m really looking forward to it. Not just that I’m visiting Ripley’s there (which is the main one), but there’s lots of fun activities there. And Family Kingdom looks a lot of fun.

Just got back from Gatlinburg and pigeon forge and we had an absolutely great time. Your guys's videos help this guide our way through the crazy town of Gatlinburg a lot more compacted than I thought it was going to be lol. Our next destination in 2023 will be Myrtle Beach. This video helped us out on where to take the kids next. Where to eat at and what times to do everything

@@IntheLoopPodcast well I hope you guys have fun. It was really crazy down there for us because there is a huge car show down there and there's another one coming in September in Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. It took us 45 minutes to go down. The 5 mi strip in pigeon forge Gatlinburg was about the same if not a little worse so if the car show is still down there, beware traffic might be heavy but the side roads from the strips help out a lot
The Myrtle Beach Pavilion was there for many years which was closed and removed at some point in the 90s. It was located on Ocean Boulevard across the street from the arcade. The family park you featured is not the oldest historic one, it is rather recent. Also, there was a Ripley's Believe it Or Not museum down the strip from the Pavilion.

Mount Atlanticus is our favorite mini golf course because if you make a hole in one on the last hole you get your picture on the wall and golf for free for the rest of your life.

Mt Atlanticus is the best mini golf course in the world.
My Daddy and I watched them build the SWAMP FOX from the ground up. We'd sit on the hood of the car and eat a hot dog and watch them build it. We lived right down the road from it.
Alabama theater is owned by the famous country/Western band. I don't know if they still play there though

I’m heading to MB for the week tomorrow. Do you think a rental car is needed or taking a Uber everywhere would be better? I’m wondering if the Uber would be just as much as renting a car for the week.
I think that would depend on the price of the rental car and I guess how much you’d like to enjoy adult beverages while in Myrtle Beach

The only thing I hate about horry county/ North Myrtle or Myrtle. There is no free parking. At all. Be ready to spend 10+$ to park for the day if you don't have a beach front property
