Thanks Beth!! I will write you soon for some lessons and a live podcast
! XX
@ralf- Love your voice! I'll have to check out your band now! Love your high mixes and diversity throughout the song posted.
What a legend
Awesome
Ralf Scheepers you're the best! Keep the good work!
LOVE YOU RALF! Like all material you've been a part of since the beginning. Hope to see you soon in Sweden again.
I love Ralf Scheepers. One of the best vocalists in heavy metal.
thanks Loz!
Michael Kiske and Papa Het are just a bit better.
Worst you mean
@@kackdackel9170 Fuck no. Kiske Maybe, but Papa hetfield is nothing special
Never expected a Primal Fear reaction. Even most metalheads don't know them. Grats!
I never see people react to them. They are phenomenal.
Unfortunate - they are a great band
This is the only song I know by them. I vaguely know of Ralf scheepers.
@@Starkiller5121 Check out whole Rulebreakers album, it's fucking amazing from start to end, sure they don't do anything you haven't heard before but it's like mixture of everything you find good in heavy and power metal mixed in one package.
What do you mean "most metalheads don't know them"?? They're one of the biggest bands in their genres
Woa, Ralf Scheepers is great. So underrated. If you take lessons from him, make a video about it!
You should try Michael Kiske. Definitely.
Câmon guys. I want to see Beth reacting to his legendary mixed register. Go go go!
alganet basically anything from that concert is mind-blowing :D A Tale or Eagle Fly Free. We are waiting Beth ;)
@@mazingguitar Eagle Fly Free :)
Oh good idea...something from the keeper album
How long until a full Avantasia thing is happening? X birds with one stone.
Though Eagel is a legend.
You should listen to Russell Allen from Symphony X... please...
Juan Carlos Gonzalez Merlano Iâll second that!
I support that. And since "The Odyssey" is too long to feature, IÂŽd love to see her react to "When All is Lost" or "The Accolade II"
@@gustavmetal Great man! I agree! But I also would love if she reacts to Kiss of Fire from Underworld...
Great singer!
UP
I know this is a vocal channel but that dual guitar solo was tight.
đ€đžđžđ
Dual sweeps that tight is just fucking crazy
Alex R -Yes, they are heavily by Judas Priest. It definitely shows, with the guitar work as well as the vocals.
Yeah theyâre awesome Magnus Karlsson Tom Naumann and Alex Beyrodt are great guitarists both Stefan Leibing and Henny Wolter were great too itâs sad that Stefan retired from music after he left the band in 2008 he left because he wanted to spend more time with his family and business but family comes first I respect his decision to leave the band since 2016 he plays guitar again for himself Magnus Karlsson is great too but I miss Stefan Henny Tom and Stefan were a great guitar duo same as Magnus Tom and Alex in Primal Fear too
Ralf is amazing, I am so pleasantly surprised you are reacting to Primal Fear. Power Metal has so many great singers and bands.
Noice. I love the diversity of songs you give a crack at analysing.
You're alright.
Reason I love her channel it's awesome
I saw them live in Dallas in 2017 and it was incredible. I also met Ralph outside and he stopped and chatted with me for about 20 minutes. What an amazing dude.
Ralf!!! Great singer and a Great Guy!!
Thanks Rafael!
Ralf Scheepers is the reason the expression "beast mode" was created. Before that, there was nothing in any language, ancient or modern, that came close to describing his performance. Even "beast mode" is insufficient, of course, so long-time fans typically just reverently whisper "Ralf Scheepers" and nod knowingly at each other, and what is communicated transcends mortal words through a pure, soul-to-soul, spiritual connection.
Try it.
"Ralf Scheepers"
See?
This is awesome, Primal Fear is fucking awesome and Ralf Scheepers is a legend. Great video Beth, loved seeing your reactions.
Pretty good description of delay vs reverb (sound engineer speaking)!
That was epic! I look forward to hearing of the results of you and Ralf meeting!
Gamma Ray - Space Eater (especially at 2:50) will always be a benchmark song imo. Good luck trying to get there :D Ralph is a hall of famer. Thank you Beth for that episode â„
Thank you for giving an opportunity to primal fear, one of my favorite bands! They are absoluty amazing
Your reaction is very great again. I love your reactions. Primal Fear is one of the best metal bands. Legend of Germany. And Ralf Sheepers is one of the best singers in the whole world. Ralf is Master Of Voice. I love him voice and him work. I wonder how many octaves Ralf has! Very high! Keep up the great work, Beth ;-).
I have been a fan of Primal Fear for somewhere around 17 years. Ralf is one of the best vocalists on the planet! This was cool to watch. đ€đ€đ€đ€
Never heard of this band before, but they're amazing! Ralf's amazing!

Cool! I never would have imagined a vocal coach would do Ralf Scheepers! I've seen these guys live 6 times.
Ralf is one of the best metal singers I've heard in 40+ years! He nails it every time and PRIMAL FEAR are easily, one of the best metal bands of the last 20 years and their consistency over a dozen albums, even the BIG bands don't have. I agree, why they are not one of the biggest bands in the world is bewildering! Glad you liked Ralf and the band! \m/
ABSOLUTELY đŻ
Woah, Beth ! One of my all time favourite singers, Big-Ralf ! IŽve followed him since his Gamma Ray days, he is awesome, still. Always has been. If you thought that was fantastic, you ainŽt heard nothing yet⊠My jaw has been on the floor hundreds of times on my journeys with the fantastic music Mr. Scheepers and Primal Fear have done in these 20+ years of their existence. And, I think I heard Diamond Head being mentioned. What are you on, Beth...
Ralf Scheepers is absolutly awesome.
Primal Fear has been one of my favorite bands since I first bumped into them 3 or so years ago, I clicked so hard when I saw this video, thank you for your commentary
Love Ralf! Primal Fear is one of my favorite bands!
this guy always fantastic!
It is so awesome to see all those metal singers that, we all knew they were doing absolutely amazing stuff for years and years, having some recognition !
That was a great thing you did for Ralf and Primal Fear.they are mu favorite band.i Al'so don't understand why they aren't more popular. Thanks Beth
Ralf is amazing, I watched him for first time with Gamma Ray, rising in the east
Best vocal coach on CZcams. IMHO
Ralf is awesome and I love that your mind is so open to musical and singing styles that are the polar opposite to what you would normally listen to. Talent is talent, whether it's in rock, metal, jazz, pop, country etc :)
I think it's 'Ralf'. Cool choice. Would love to see a King Diamond or a Rob Halford episode.
P.S Why aren't these guys bigger? Primal Fear have been around for a solid 20 years now but power metal is a bit too European to break through. Power metal is small in places like the USA or Australia but still quite big in Germany (where they're from) the surrounding countries and Japan.
Yeah, power metal requires a complete lack of irony that's hard to pull off since about the '90s.
@@rickc2102 đđ
I think Grunge killed that for em
Power metal is highly appreciated in South America too, specially in Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
@@thiagomartins6154 Power metal is really loved in Chile :D
i've been seeing a slow but steady comeback of hard rock and power metal in the west in the past few years. people are sick of dreary music, bubblegum music etc and want to rock out again. rock and roll never dies, it just passes out in a drunken stupor for a while.
Awesome react. Great Job young lady.
Your reaction is very great again. I love your reactions. Primal Fear is one of the best metal bands. The Germany Legend. And Ralf Sheepers is Master Of Voice. I love her voice and her work. One of the best singers in the whole world. I wonder how many octaves Ralf has! Very high! Keep up the great work, Beth ;-).
You are fantastic!
I enjoyed that video much more than expected, great analysis and we can tell you're really into it.
Love Ralf Scheepers, you might wanna listen to what he did in the first two albums by Gamma Ray, especially Space Eater. A very inspiring song for me to learn singing!
I love this band! Number one for me for the last decades. This song is like a thunderstorm!!!! More energy and dynamics is just impossible!
I reckon you won't find it too hard having Ralf agree to a podcast, he's one of the nicest guys out there.
I got him on board! podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/good-job-with-beth-roars/id1466215210?fbclid=IwAR22Ua8OEgaPgnsBMKeS9qRLgWqEkbTrjJ7TWwbLhoYJJS5PdO5ySYaX8V8
Love this band.
Awesome! Ralf is a beast.
Nice. Was first aware of Ralf when he sang on the first Gamma Ray album (which I used to blast on my car stereo when I was a student at St Andrews!). He's added a lot more grit to his voice since then - but if you want to check out his upper register that's an amazing album.
That ĂĄlbum Was the perfect sequel to the Helloween's "Keepers...". 'Heaven can Wait' is an anthem of Life and a very underrated song. Much better than "I want out", very similar
The "Sigh no more" album has some technical tracks too... "One with the world", "Dream healer", "Father and son" and stuff... His switches between the upper/mid/lower register are amazin!
Some guys called him "Little Halford" allegedly :D dunno why đ€·đ»ââïžđ€đ
Hey! Check out my reaction to Helloween here: czcams.com/video/aAiXpoGUaxM/video.html
RALPH IS A MONSTER!!đȘđĄđ€
Great reaction to Primal Fear and their lead singer Ralph Scheepers singing style.
My fav band!!â€â€â€
thanks beth. this one was selected for the high vocals i'm sure. they have a bunch of seriously heavy material also.
These guys fckn ROCK!
I actually had lessons from him. Its worth it.
Lust For Life (Gamma Ray) with Ralph!
Nahuel Escalada Or heaven can wait live from heading for the east.
Oooo que bueno que se te ocurriĂł escuchar esta banda . justo estaba con un tema de ellos en la cabeza đ€đ€đ€
One of the best heavy metal singer long time ago
đ·đ excelent analysis!
God, I love Primal Fear! Seen them three times in SoCal and have met them twice, Ralf is so awesome and kind and down to earth! #MetalIsForever! đ€
0:46 Uwaah! Nice touch! It's the small things like this that make these videos so wonderful! :)
I really hope to see videos with you and these singers either doing interviews or combined lessons with them. That would be fantastic!
What, a power metal band? Yes! I've been watching your videos but I'm totally subbing now.
Yes! Love primal fear and Beth's firey red hair
Yep, that's my favourite band!
Metal is forever ! Primal Fear rules ! One of the most underrated bands in Metal ...
Beth, please check out Queensryche "Take Hold of the Flame" live in Tokyo!
That's a good one.
Ralf is amazing
Seen and shared stages with these guys back in the days and Ralph always, ALWAYS sang like a god.
Love Ralph Scheepers, love Primal Fear
As for react song, Beth
I'd like to see
Rob Halford of Judas priest
"Victim of changes" or "starbreaker."
PS. Your vocal notes are GREATđ
How about Angel?
@@habitante19 from Halford?
It's really nice to see a singing coach appreciating Heavy Metal and not just dismissing it as many people do. Lots of people just hear noise because they are not listening properly. CZcams is becoming a great medium for people to react to music they normally don't listen to
Ralf is the Best singer of all power metal singer.
Ralf is a monster .... a great singer!!!!
I still await the video of his reaction to the vocal expression of King Diamond âșđđ
React to Judas Priest The sentinel 1986 (main inspiration of Primal Fear singer).
Ralf Ă© dos melhores que eu jĂĄ escutei ao vivo
Yes!! Ralf is the best!
02:54 How not to love your reactions? YouÂŽre the best!!
Thank you a lot for this reaction. Primal fear is such an underrated band đ
Oh yeah, I was waiting for "DO YOU WANNA DIEEEE" moment to see your face:)
Was not disappointed:)
Scheepers is definitely one of the best Metal singers! And, as I know, Rob Halford fan :)
King diamond - abigail
Yes!
Still going strong in his 60s!
That was bad ass
Check out Stu Block, he's the vocalist of Iced Earh. A song called Boiling point.
Yeah!! One of the best!!!
Ralph is amazing
Just a friendly note, his name is spelled Ralf, not Ralph.
I was lucky enough to see Primal Fear in FL. I waited about 6-7 years for them to tour the U.S. And I was not disappointed, the show was amazing. And they're all humble people. I was able to meet and greet with them for free behind the venue and get my CDs signed. I asked Ralf how he's able to sing like that night after night, does he gargle vinegar or something? He jokingly replied that he gargles his own piss. Lol!
Ralf is awesome! I think you'd really love Warrel Dane (RIP) as well. You should give Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor a shot.
We're still waiting for Pearl Jam "Black" MTV unplugged....Beth,please...
Yes I second. Get it going.
UÂŽre very very cooooll !!!
Greetings from Brazil
I enjoyed the music and the analysis, but your humility saying you may have things to learn from him topped everything in my opinion. Way to go! Love your accent by the way đ
Primal Fear is an instant like from me!
Beth, this band has been bringing the metal sound since the mid 1990's. A definite Rob Halford vocal influence but the band has its own heavy metal vibe. Been a fan since the early days. from TEXAS, USA!
It always perplexed me that Primal Fear never got bigger than they currently are. They are flying the flag for traditional heavy metal and doing a damn good job of it! This is the band that will pick up where Iron Maiden and Judas Priest leave off.
Midnight, from crimson glory would be cool.
Jorn Lande is an amazing singer .
He blows my mind!!!
Great! My favourite song by Primal Fear: Iron Fist in a Velvet Glove
Greetings from Germany!
If you like high mixes, you'll love "The Sentinel" by Judas Priest. Watch their official live video from the 80s.
ALONG DESERTED AVENUES!
Scheepers is a pretty well known name in South Africa too. Our German ancestors! You rock Ralf!
My age may show a bit on this one but Give Skid Row- Youth Gone wild a look. I saw them in concert twice in my younger wilder days. Really amazing talent.
Por esto amamos el Metal!! ImI
Wow, didn't see this one coming
Hello beth!
Look out for yannis papadopoulos . His cover on crimson's glory " masque of the red Death ". He is also now the lead singer of beast in black. You'll be really blown away from his vocal range especially in the high notes!
Yannis is amazing!!!
Ralf is so good.
So entertaining to see a vocal coach discovering all power metal legends and getting so damn enthusiast about it :D If you love Ralph's singing, you should definitely check the first two Gamma Ray's albums, "Heading for tomorrow" and "Sigh no more".
Don't forget the band Ralf sang with before Gamma Ray, German metaller's Tyran Pace.
Why aren't they bigger? I saw them a few years ago with Rhapsody with a crowd of maybe 100 people tops and wondered the exact same thing about both bands. Primal Fear are amazing. One song doesn't do them justice. Got to see them for like 90 minutes and the energy level and effort to perform at the best never once wavering. It's awe inspiring.
