Who & what is JJ Extra?
We’re Josh & Jason, a British couple with a passion for everything travel & food (and lots of coffee). Whether at home in the UK or on our international travels we seek out everything from hidden gems to bucket list destinations, trying new foods and unique drinks wherever we go.
After meeting in early 2019 with dreams of travelling the World together we were all plunged in to the chaos of a global pandemic. Now, as we move in to the future we are making up for lost time and ensuring every day turns in to an adventure, fuelled by our love of food and an unhealthy (but enjoyable) addiction to coffee.
Over the last 2 years we have explored our beautiful home country like never before and in 2022 we were lucky enough to start travelling abroad once more and our dream to travel the world together has been reignited.
We love an adventure and in 2023 we are challenging ourselves to step out of our comfort zones & push ourselves to the limit as we take on bigger adventures than ever before, visit new places & try new experiences. So come along and join the adventure, you never know where it might lead!

That looked a really great place for an overnight stay. You are off over to USA again, I hope the worst of the weathers cleared up and don't worry about bringing any snow back thanks we don't want any. Have a super time, look forward to hearing all about your adventures. Was the glass into the bathroom see through?????? Oooer missus I wouldn't like that!!!!!!!🙃
Definitely for quick access straight into the airport 😁 we filmed this series in November (last minute decision) the glass into the bathroom was see through so definitely only a place for couples or VERY good friends 😂 😂

What a cute little place to stay!!! Not sure how Nicole would feel about the bathroom literally have glass walls peeking into the sleeping area. . . Also not sure if that glass is soundproof. . . So, maybe nose cancelling headphones would be ideal?
Noise & nose cancelling 🤣 we can say the glass definitely isn’t soundproof 💨

This does look like a convenient place to stay but I have heard someone else say they couldnt sleep because of the green light.
Im not keen on the glass bathroom either tbh xx
Very convenient but yes the green light is annoying and we would say there are better value hotels to be had at Gatwick
I think I will stick with Sofitel at Gatwick . The room looked great, but I would find it very claustrophobic.
Yes the no windows to the outside world would definitely be an issue if you suffer from claustrophobia. We have never stayed at the Sofitel.
Love the tour but would agree, not worth £140.
They could have made the bed a Murphy bed with a seat that folds up under the bed when it folds down
