I stayed at this hotel after being awake for over 30 hours. I have a fond memory of how much dopamine I felt as I realised there was a hotel in the terminal I could just go pass out in. Amazing hotel too!

My wife and I stayed here before flying in 2018 and couldn't fault it at all. The soundproofing is astonishing given how close it is to the runways.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. Once in a windowless room (before my flight to florida), and one in a corner suite where the walls were all windows (straight after my wedding as we were flying to honeymoon the next morning). Both times were fantastic stays and really enjoyed my stays. I would stay here again.
Hi Tim. I love the idea of staying in a hotel in the airport especially if you have an early morning flight . Arrive at the airport the day before stay in one the night before and you are ready to go the next day. No more waking up at 2 or 3 in the morning for a mad dash to airport. I think all airports should have hotels in them.

Itâs a great Japanese Styled compact room in the South terminal easily missed but a high quality and very functional hotel.
The hotel is like a mini beamish for pan am and the 60âs itâs beautifuly done

Every year me and my mum travel to Kent to go to the big cat sanctuary and we always have to drive in the direction of Gatwick it is soooo busy!!
What a great idea to have the hotel in the airport, gets rid of all the stress of getting to the airport, love it and glad its sound proofed !
We did it before our first big holiday to Florida with my partner. We wanted to extend our trip. Was so lovely getting food in the airport in the evening, getting a good night sleep then easily strolling to the gate in the morning.

How I wish to stay in this kind of hotel. And I can just sit by the window all day watching all the airplanes taking off, landing and park in the runway. Ooh I love airplanes.

As a kid, I loved watching the runways and seeing all the little utility vehicles etc doing their thing.
What would be really useful at Hotels if they allowed is for you to show accessible rooms and do they have any Changing Rooms Accessible Toilets.

I really really love the design of the room they made use of every inch of it it is just fantastic the lighting the mirrors the bathroom the comfy bed the whole thing is just great
I stayed in the easy hotel in the Gatwick basement a while back and loved having access to all the restaurants and bars and then already being in the terminal for my flight. This looks like a step up and the sound proofing is amazing!
I've stayed in this hotel before, and a similar full-service hotel in a New Zealand airport terminal. My favorite thing to do for those early morning flights: check-in, drop your bags then head back to your room to relax for another hour before security!

We stayed at bloc when we had an early flight from Gatwick. Really good bed and a really good sleep. We didnt take the optional upgrade of a window, that was ÂŁ5 more! It's like staying in a spaceship.
Looks very handy great for people flying in or flying out good security everything you need really.
It looks very beautiful and it is good itâs in a terminal building. No faffing around just head out and your there.
your running comments are so in sync with mine...it surprises me...distinguishes your vlogs from others. chuckle at some comments like what you find appealing (tv is centered and polished items) and what makes you 'gutted'...it does me too. keep these coming you are helping us in many ways.

I know Bloc as a sunglasses brand, guess they branched out đ, also like the space in the room by the window as it means you can store all your stuff out of sight and away from main part of room.
I stayed here back in Nov. I booked a day room because I landed from JFK at 6am. I checked out at 3pm and headed into the city well rested.

Stayed in the Bloc hotel in Birmingham and honestly it was great
Great video Tim. Another hi-tech hotel (well for me and my tech knowledge it is!!) For me the best thing about the room was the view, could of spent all evening looking out the window. The corridors looked narrow, maybe it was the dark decor? Looking forward to your next video đ
They are a bit but yes the dark wood makes it look worse

Also if you like this place check out the aerotel in LHR T3, really comfy and very soundproof! Bit pricey don't get me wrong but for what you get its brilliant!
The old Attaturk airport had a hotel inside the airport building.
I loved this, that view from when the lights are turned off was incredible - looks good to stay there

We have stayed overnight before at bloc , but next time we are staying 6 hours through the day after a transatlantic overnight flight with a long wait for our next flight , itâs just over ÂŁ60 , perfect for a sleep and shower

Fantastic, Tim. I live only 10 minutes down the road from Gatwick so itâs very rare that I would need to stay overnight there! Great to see the Bloc Hotel - itâs signage is very prominent on the south terminal - looks perfect for an overnight stay!

Really good video Tim. Would consider staying there if ever back in the UK. I have stayed in a hotel inside Singapore Airport and its a really good set up. Have great runway views as well.

Stayed there 6 years ago, before and after flights to /from the continent. Extremely convenient, plus the novelty of being in the middle of the flight action justified the cost for me. Checking back, I pre-paid 10.50 as an extra for a breakfast at one of two places in the terminal.
LOVE The Bloc. Iâve stayed in that actual room. The one in Birmingham city centre is also great.

Its a lovely hotel, I stayed in that room, 846 at the end of February. I requested it simply because of its views! Only difference is at 6:41 there is now a desk there with a Nespresso coffee machine.
Really enjoy your videos, it's honest, fair and just down to earth unlike a lot of CZcamsrs nowadays that just like to boast. Keep up the fantastic videos

I quickly checked on their website, stay from today till tom is 144ÂŁ for a windowless room. Random night middle of the week April is 125ÂŁ.

I stayed in the Yotel at Gatwick Airport about 10 years ago, but this new place looks like a better option.
