    I just returned from Sturgis and after looking at the Siouxcide Choppers, Factory 47 and LA Customers tents, i decided to go with KST bars. I'm incredibly happy with the finished product. The guys were great. Install was great. Love the look. Love the feel and actually saved some money over the others. Love that its a Made in America good looking piece. Outstanding work KST!

    Thanks for sharing this video, great aid in helping me decide, but need more info! I have a 2023 CVO Road Glide and finally received my Saddlemen road sofa, so now I can order my bars. We placed some 12 in and 14 in Factory 47s next to my stock bars while I sat on the bike at my HD dealer. However, to my surprise, even though the peak point of the bars was taller, both the 12- and 14-inch Factory 47s grip height was about the same as the stock grips, so they can't help me. I need a set of bars that increase the height of the grips about 3 inches, which would allow me to also pull the bars about 1-2 inches back from the stock 2023 CVO road glide bar position. I really like the one piece "Ornery Ape" bars! However, not seeing them in person makes buying bars difficult. Could you please let me know how much the Ornery Ape different heights models (10,12,14) compared to the stock grip height and width? how much taller is the grip height and width compared to stock? I think it would be a great idea if companies would do a visual overlay of bars they are selling compared to the stock, while not on the bike, just some pics of the bars just next to each other with dimensions identified. Before and after pics of bikes with new handlebars installed is great seeing how they would look, but not how they may feel. Anyway, any information on the Ornery Ape dimensions compared to the stock 2023 cvo road glide would be awesome. Your products look awesome, and I hope they will be my next big purchase. Thank you!!

    Installed exactly as the video instructed and now I got ABS and engine lights on. c110463, p151000, and p212700 codes will not clear. My ABS is acting up, no cruise control, and in some kind of low performance mode... wtf happened???

    So no upgrade to polyurethane bushings? I was lead to believe on my 2017 I needed to do that. Thank you and awesome video with good attention to detail.

    Do you pull the main fuse on this bike before you start the work? if not, did you have any issues when restarting post install (error codes that needed to be cleared etc)? Also I thought that little plastic nub on the throttle side switch assembly is there to go into the channel in the throttle grip to keep it from rotating freely all the way around?

    • @kstkustoms1324
      @kstkustoms1324  Před 3 měsíci +1

      We have started pulling the main fuse. The nub on the throttle side does not do anything

    So to adjust the handlebars you have to remove the entire fairing or just remove the fork lock cover?

    • @fredgrippa4782
      @fredgrippa4782 Před 6 měsíci

      You do not have to remove anything to Adjust bars on the 23-24 CVO Road Glide, The clamp sits out in the open.

    Thanks for the video. After I got it mostly all buttoned up, the bike will turn on. And that's it. It won't boot in accessory mode and none of the other buttons work on either control. It's like it's in mode that I can't figure out how to get out of. Any ideas?

      @@brapsquatch just make sure everything clears good before you tighten everything down. The way they redesigned that area makes it easy to crimp the wires.

      So I installed everything as you did in your video and I’ve ran into a problem. It won’t start I went through everything a couple different times, making sure all connections were secure and seated properly but everything back up and still the same. Everything will come on all my lights work my blinkers work works on my button functions work, but the bike won’t start. Any suggestions here yes, I’ve looked for crimp wires on the hand controls nothing..

    • @brapsquatch
      @brapsquatch Před 6 měsíci

      @@chadhale525 I'm probably not much of a help brother. If everything works, all buttons, accessory mode works, blinkers and all that then it's hard to say. If it cranks over then you know that's working at least. Maybe a fuel problem? I actually had that happen to me after getting everything installed. I let it sit for a while and then it fired up and haven't had an issue since. If it doesn't even crank over maybe try a jumper to be sure it isn't batter related. Maybe you have a ground wire loose. My problem was I had cut wires on both harnesses. I had to solder them all back together and really take my time and be careful when tightening down the perches. Good luck man.
