In a strange way, Isekai Quartet gives Aqua a chance to shine in some areas, making her less of a "Useless goddess". She has no fear of the powerful devils and undead from Overlord because her divine power is more than enough to wipe out such creatures. Aqua may be only good character in Isekai Quartet who can kill the Overlord cast, a team of insanely-powerful monsters, especially if she gets serious. I actually feel a little safer with her in the cast and she provides some comedic tension.
Notice that Kazuma made her drop her staff, so she casts the spell without its power boost, and still manages to do more harm in one hit that anything Ainz faced before.
I always find it hilarious how Aqua, with her reputation for being useless, has all the right traits to counter Ainz, who is seen as MUCH more powerful.
It's funny because that's more damage than Ainz takes throughout the entire of his series
