I was raised in an Ole Miss family, grew up watching and rooting for them. They are still one of my favorites but certainly not my #1. I gravitated towards Tennessee. I suppose every school has its share of crazy fanatics as well. I've witnessed and have known both Ole Miss and Miss. State, fans and players alike, take things far too seriously. I get it. There is a natural rivalry and hatred between the Rebels and Bulldogs. I'm all for trash talking and becoming passionate. Its the in-state rivalry of course. If you don't win a game all year long, you definitely want to win that one. But I get so sick of people literally wanting to fight. Both schools have both had their ugly moments. Everyone has. But fans like that suck all of the fun and class out of it.
Maybe some day Ole Miss can finally win the West and head to Atlanta. I enjoyed this video. Good nostalgia and historically entertaining.
Tennessee, on the other hand, has no REAL in - state rival....just like AR & LSU.

@@MichaelGunner123 I sure hope you're right bro. Ole Miss is certainly long overdue for that trip to Atlanta. Lane Kiffin seems like the guy to finally make it happen after a few years as head coach under his belt. Since the creation of the SEC Championship game, the Rebels are literally the only team in the West to have never played in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. So they're definitely overdue and I'd love to see it happen. For a while now though, Alabama has had a strong hold on the West and the SEC in general. Until Nick Saban retires, it may be like that for a while. Only LSU has been able to get in there and even they haven't did it very often over the past decade or so.
@@claytonlusby2505 Thx, buddy, for your comment. Gonna' be a tough road ahead w Nick Satan at the helm probably another decade till he's 80. But, it's not impossible. Rebs shld've WON SEC WEST in 2014 (Laquan Treadwell injury vs Allbarn was devestating) and/or 2015 but came up short. (AR 4th & 23 convert was Atlanta killer, too).

This, "The Season" crap is getting silly. I'm waiting for the badminton "The Season" video. Classic elevate yourself with your own words. It's similar to Ole Miss claiming that LSU is their main rivalry. Maybe it was at one time, but that is an attempt to elevate yourself by upping the pedigree of your main rival, inferring that your program is on that level. It' getting silly Ole Miss.

You can expect that from Ole Miss all season in 2019 hell their top 2019 recruit Ealy play HS football in some MS private league againt junior varsity talent and not against the MS top public school with better talent
