  • In this episode we start the work and bring in some equipment to help us out. We search for the creek and we're stunned at the expansive property lines.
    💚 Thanks for watching,

Hey Hey Hey! That is one large plot that you have! SOO cool! I am a little envious. Endless supply of firewood! BTW that big dead tree full of holes. I would really recommend that you let it fall on it's own! These big old trees are rare and they are magnets for colorful woodpeckers !l I strongly suspect that pileated woodpeckers are doing those big holes. These are massive 15 to 20 inch birds with a big red crest! incredibly majestic! Anyway! Love the chanel! Keep it up!

Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed! That's interesting about the wood peckers and ya we don't have a plan or a strong enough chainsaw to take that tree down anyway lol.

Oh my! I felt that, I had one of those wolf spiders climb up my chest while throwing firewood into the back of our truck one day, lol. I had the same reaction, lol.

Terrifying! Ya I'm not used to spiders that big around. Seems like in Alberta the harsh winters climate prevented spiders getting that big.

Hey guys! We just came over to support you from your post on Facebook. We bought a 62 acre island on a lake in the other side of Canada. We are building a homestead too. We totally 'get' your journey!

Oh interesting, I'll have to do some research into the differences. We were just told the wolf spiders are huge here.
