The Annual Humber - Lincolnshire Penny Farthing and Vintage Bicycle Ride 2024

The Annual Humber - Lincolnshire Penny Farthing and Vintage Bicycle Ride started April 2023 when a group of vintage bicycle enthusiasts decided to embark on an adventure which involved a cycle ride across the Humber Bridge!
The ride was that much a success that it has become an annual event.
The route is tough in places with a few difficult inclines, not to mention the windy Humber Bridge!
The route commenced in the north car park of the Humber bridge, routes through Barton upon Humber, Barrow, Barrow Haven to Thornton Abbey for a picnic stop continuing through to Ulceby and back through Wootton to end at the Viking Way Cafe in Barton Upon Humber. The route is around 30 miles.
All machines on the ride were 1800s Penny Farthings and very early 1900s safety bicycles.
