If khalistan is spreading anti india slogan in Canada, india need to stand up for it which we did and that's why Canada was not happy too. Recently we have signed operating iran port and the US started about sanction. We are much more courageous in making any foreign policy than before.

Traditionally Indians (basically the "unlettered") in the sub-continent have a mindset of migrating to which ever place they feel safe at, with no concern about internationally established borders. It is no laughing matter and the consequences of this, are hard to tackle, even for political pundits & the highly learned. Deal with the unlettered, unwashed masses and dealing with the diplomatic counter-parts in conferences, across the tables in air-conditioned rooms, bedecked with flowers - becomes much easier.
One can always blame the border security forces, but there is a limit to everything.
The only solution to this menace seems to be to have one country in South Asia, without a plethora of borders across all kinds of terrains & climatic regions. But this is ll the result of accepting and living with a Westphalian type of a country & governance that doesn't suit South Asians, who see it as an imposition.
Basically all wars are fought for "territory" and people are just an excuse. This fact shan't be lost sight of.
