MST Performance Check Engine Light Fix | GR Corolla Install

I didn't have to do this... honestly. I've been Gucci this entire time with the original MST Performance Intake and their V1 fix. Now, understand this... I was sent their intake with the fix already in place, so maybe some very early adopters have had to go through multiple fixes, as all intakes for the GR Corolla have been through.

I've been out on an island of no CEL and lovely intake turbo noises, but I'm here for the people! And the people want to know how this V2 CEL fix is installed and I'm happy to oblige.

I try to keep this short and sweet and included some screenshots of the instructions at the end. Hopefully, my 10,000+ miles of intake joy and no CEL continues.

No. I'm on the fence on whether I want to flash the ECU or not or spend the money to go standalone or wait for the market to mature.
The GR Corolla performs very well on its on parameters for a lot of bolt-on mods. Hence why you will see a lot of companies showing how their parts perform on a stock GRC and what they do tuned.
To get the absolute most out of the parts installed a tune is what you'll want to do. However, I am happy keeping the ECU stock and gaining so small pump on performance from better airflow, etc.

Zero CEL since this was installed. Which was probably about 7500 miles ago and a few roadtrips.

I took a few road trips, one to New Orleans (about 1000 miles total), daily commuting for a few weeks now, and also some tripes to Austin (about 400 miles) ... and so far, so good. Not a CEL in sight.
