When you know the person who is spelling its truly a miracle. Communication 4 all website you can learn to do it yourself.
how can he be picking the letters when he’s not looking at the board
He IS looking. He knows where letters are. Presume competence.

living like this is trully torture. I wish there was a cure.
I feel sorry for Joshua, Love and peace.
You must be happy for him: he's finally found his voice!
Love from Rome, Jousha, think that in Italy so called experts are still wasting people's time and money with pecs and ABA...
But he's... Not the one typing in this video. His facilitator is driving his arm

Did you actually watch and listen to moms description of why she holds his arm. Maybe watch again or watch the stories of others who are finally able to express themselves and show others that they are intelligent people.
He struggles with proprioception, like many autistics. She pushes against the arm to help him feel his body in space.
Help each achieve in the way they need from a trusted person to guide them. Is it better to leave someone alone and dejected because no one is allowed to help them connect their mind and body? Then as they grow in the method they may, like many do, use no physical guidance at all.
