Maserati Levante 430hp Luxy SUV - My first drive of a Maserati!
Fun fact, during the development of the Levante, Maserati used 36 test cars that clocked a total of 2.7 million kilometres (1.6 million miles) of research and development time. It is finally available in the UK in it's 430hp glory and I was invited to test the car on snow, ice and alpine asphalt to see what it's all about...you have to hear it!

Maserati is a brand for old money. They don’t want to stand out with Lamborghinis or Ferraris. It’s about being discrete and enjoying driving without having to show off to the other people. It’s my favorite brand because of that.
Maserati is a show-off brand. Non car people generally think they're very cool!

It's a Chrysler, nothing more. The infotainment is straight out of a Chrysler 300.

the Grand Turismo is all about low-key love and discrete but not until you open up the exhaust and you can hear the V8 rumbling from miles away like a Spitfire coming right out of the sky.
That engine sounds really good for a turbocharged V6

Hello again from New Zealand - Definitely what Maserati needed, and from all accounts they have performed a splendid job. Did the demo car you drove have the gran sports pack installed ? The exhaust system sounded fantastic and the interior layout looked very well put together. And I also love the synergy between Maserati and some stylish Italian fashion house. I have two boys aged 8 who already do their own blog. So they have been watching your articles, and you have inspired them to do a car vlog. They also love Maserati, so they asked me to take them to the Maserati dealership in Christchurch to do a shoot. I can tell you now the Christchurch dealership were not impressed nor inspired by the motivation and fascination of these young, smart and kids (the future of the auto industry ) - :( Thanks again for uploading another video

New Mr jww video great start to my Sunday
I had on long term loan a Ghibli S, currently drive M3 and Wife has E43 both brands are better or equal in every respect to Maserati, yet the Massa always made me look over my shoulder at it as I walked away, it’s sounded fantastic, and whenever I mentioned I was driving it people were genuine in their interest...yes yes all the jokes about it being the same as a fiat or Jeep...the truth is it felt, even smelled special, so what if tech screen is Fiat group, it had genuine exclusivity, steering feel, performance even if never the best in class...see Steve Sutcliife excellent review....great production value as always James

Automatic transmissions unlike Dual Clutch ones, do not get destroyed when inch forwarding, either in heavy traffic or at slow paced driving with elevation changes, but most important, when towing.

Completely agree James, the theatre of it all compensates for the rear which is a tad dull.
Out of the 2.7 million test miles, not one was used to see if the headrest of the front passenger seat is incorrectly tilted to one side.

This is no joke. You need to see how this thing handles on a track. I think saying you'll be pleasantly surprised might not do it justice. This thing is weapon. Absolute wolf dressed in slik Italian tailoring. I love this car!

Can you please please please do a video on tips for driving through Europe, I want to do a big roadtrip in the summer but I'm fairly intimidated by crossing so many borders and what issues I might come across. You are so well placed to help the people on your channel.
Don't worry we are rather civilised in Europe, you'll probably manage to survive, no guarantee though.

Its a bit strange that the turbocharged Maseratis and Alfa Romeo V6 sounds better then the turbocharged Ferraris.
If you get a Maserati you will have to get a Bvlgari watch and Ermengelido Zegna suits.

Saw my first one in a Sainsbury's car park just yesterday (Saturday, March 10th). It was parked next to a Range Rover and looked good, but the Range Rover is much larger and appears more practical which is the point of an SUV.

When I was shopping around for my Levante S I read a review saying that the car was too noisy. When I test drove the car the exaust note got me hooked. I can only drive this car in Sport Mode. It is AWESOME!!!!!!

Full specs Maserati Levante like the one he's driving is at €118k , the Alfa is at like €100k
The Maserati have less horse power but imo it does look better
