    Very well presented and detailed, probably the best 2 part mold making/Casting tutorial I've seen. I use this for my plastic model kits usually to make up missing or broken pieces, I literally mold the entire sprues/runners and keep the copies in the original box for use later as I get many incomplete kits from estate sales and such. Your method is spot on to mine except now I might try the brand you are using. Great video Victoria!

      I do think this is possible. Generally a good idea not to replicate anything and resell without the original artists/company's permission. In this video the glass bear was unmarked but to be safe only used for demonstration purposes.

      ABS material will be harder than ordinary polyurethane casting resin. The hardness of ABS material can reach 80 Shore D, and the hardness of polyurethane resin is usually 70-75 Shore D.🚩🀄

    Did the Ease Release 200 not change the surface texture of the object? It says on the website that it is matte, and I'd imagine that all future castings would also be matte.

    • @victoriapitt2305
      @victoriapitt2305 Před 2 lety

      The ER 200 can sometimes leave a satin finish, but I found my casting were shiny enough for me. I believe the Ease Release line has other sprays that are more geared towards high gloss.
