I like Neko Shogun, I still have him in my party and on the fourth block segment in game. I mean, he basically nulls light/dark and has a few other resistances with only one elemental weakness.
I got lucky and was able to fuse Dark Frost around 35-37 and because I had the arcana maxed he went to level 42 right when I fused, he's been carrying the game so far ngl. Also been using Setanta with Auto Sukukaja, Auto Tarukaja, Pierce Boost, Charge, and Torrent Shot. These two together have been steam rolling any thing Ive come across
Matador >>> Auto spells work better with high Ag. Persona, plus Dekunda is just too valuable early game since party member stats are naturally low and a simple (ma)tarunda/ rakunda can really ruin a fight for you.
You can actually get Spirit Drain slightly earlier than level 22 by getting it from a level 3 sword card. If you get an arcana burst, all shuffles on the first floors of Arqa should contain level 3 cards. It’s a bit rng reliant, but this is the only way to get reliable SP recovery at this point in the game
I’m new and have no idea what’s going on, but I got Arcana burst very early but after that I still get only like lvl 2 cards. Idk why. Only once it was higher levels (but no swords), then it’s only lvl 2. Btw, what is the priority? Which cards to choose? What to pick when there’s a persona card I already have, a skill I already have, and exp/gold card for instance? Should I pick the latter?
I’m around floor 50 and just starting to get over the SP hump. I have found in every game that seems to be the only thing says that you really need to conserve it or you risk spending many days in Tartarus meaning you sacrifice social stats. Apart from that not too much of an issue so far.
Ive been abusing a shiisa with auto sukukaja rakukaja and crit boost with light arrow and herculean strike but ive never used naga gonna try him next ig ive been wantin to level up these other personas for fusion purpose anyways

How, as a new player to Persona I've been doing my best with just the tips from the game and I'm literally just hanging in there. Help. I think I should focus more on social links. I'm literally playing in normal mode.
Persona games are FULL of lots of depth. Don't be discouraged. That's the reason we put guides out to begin with! What are you struggling most with? Surviving in Tartarus? What to do during daily activities? Don't know how the fusion mechanic works? Let us know! Maybe we can do a guide on it!

I only just started playing a week ago and my 5 element fortuna with spirit drain has allowed me to spend considerable amounts of time in there
